with my family and friend.
A(to ex-bestfriend) -> I can’t believe you just asked me that! You betrayed me, told my boyfriend a
lie about me, and now you're interested in this kind of thing? This is mind-boggling!

4. Answer the questions:


1) Why can people sometimes tell white lies?
Because the truth can sometimes hurt and it can't always help in this situation, so it's better
to lie, but not always.

2) How have manners changed recently? Analyse one example.


For instance, things like men pulling out chairs or holding open doors.

3) Which manners would be taught by children at school/home?


- Saying “please” and “thank you”
- Saying “sorry”
- Covering mouth when sneezing or coughing
- Asking before taking smth
- Learning to share
- Being kind and showing respect to elders and people with disabilities

5. Make sentences with the above mentioned words and phrases (right column task 1 and left
column task 2). Minimum 5
