Objective: Students will apply the dynamic intent into the isolated crescendo and decrescendo
within specific balance and instrumentation.

10 - Breathing and Bb - Students will do in 4


Scale! out 4 with the same
quality breath learned
last week and build
upon counts
- Students will play
concert Bb scale in
alternate rhythms and
then add the cresendos
and decrecendos as
modeled in the piece.

15 - Balancing in dynamic - Students will run that


context specific section
- Teacher will help with
any pitch or fingering
issues
- Build upon each chord
and balance down to
the lower notes and
determine what the
“Cool” notes are”
- Play with dynamics in
context and have
discussion on meaning
of this section.

5 - Add everyone! - Run that specific


section to the end if we
can with the other
members returning
from sectionals.
