THE “2022/2032 SELF” ACTIVITY MADE ME FEEL JOY AND


MOTIVATION WITH SADNESS AND DISAPPOINTMENT ALL AT
ONCE BECAUSE OF THE DIFFERENCE THAT I SAW AFTER HAVING
THE LIST OF WHAT I AM RIGHT NOW IN THE PRESENT DAY AND
WHO I WANT TO BE IN THE FUTURE TIME. WITH THIS, I WANT TO
BE MORE AWARE AND UPDATED ON MYSELF IN THE MOST REAL
WAY POSSIBLE SO THAT I CAN KNOW AND UNDERSTAND MY
CONDITIONS AND ENVIRONMENT THROUGH REGULARLY
CHECKING THE SITUATIONS THAT I AM IN AND MAKING THE
SOLUTION THAT I NEED AT THAT TIME. PLAINLY, THIS ACTIVITY
MADE ME REALIZE HOW UNPREPARED I AM, AS OF NOW, FOR

BECAUSE CHANGES ARE THE ONLY CONSTANT THING THAT IS

HAPPENING, I BELIEVE THAT NO PERSON REMAINS WHO HE IS

FROM A LONG TIME AGO UP TO THE PRESENT MOMENT.

PERSONALLY, IF I WERE TO CHOOSE WHAT TO REALLY BELIEVE

BETWEEN BODY AND MEMORY THEORY, I WOULD PROBABLY

SEPARATED IN ACTUALITY AS THEY ALWAYS AFFECT AND

INTERACT WITH EACH OTHER WHICH INCLUDES THE IMPACT ON

AN INDIVIDUAL’S WAY OF THINKING, PERSONALITY, AND

BEHAVIOR. I BELIEVE THAT WHAT HAPPENS OUTSIDE, IN OUR

BUT WHEN I GOT INTO THE NEXT PART OF IT, MY FEELINGS WENT DOWN AS I
REALIZED THE GAP BETWEEN THE NUMBERS OF I WROTE IN THE FIRST PART
AND THE ONES I AM SURE OF ABOUT IN THE PART OF THOSE I THINK I AM

REALLY HAPPY WITH UTMOST SINCERITY.

AS A PERSON WHO LOVES WORDS OF AFFIRMATION, I ENJOYED


LOOKING AT AND CHECKING THE RESPONSES MADE BY THE
PEOPLE WHO I SENT THE JOHARI WINDOW AND WHO ARE ALSO

SCORE POSSIBLE THAT IS 100. PRIMARILY, I HAVE COMPLETE
ATTENDANCE IN ALL 10 SESSIONS OF THE CLASS WITH ACTIVE
PARTICIPATION DURING THE MEETING IN TERMS OF RECITATION
IN BOTH CHAT AND AUDIO WHICH ALSO LED TO MY COMPLETE
OUTPUTS WITH TAKEAWAYS AND INSIGHTS. I DID NOT GIVE

LESSON THAT WAS DIFFICULT FOR ME IS “WESTERN AND
EASTER THOUGHT”, SPECIFICALLY THE TOPIC ON THE “EASTERN
CONCEPT OF SELF” (I.E., HINDUISM, BUDDHISM,
CONFUCIANISM, AND TAOISM) DUE TO THE REASON THAT
WHEN I WATCHED AND LISTENED TO THE VIDEO REPORTS ON
THIS, I FELT OVERWHELMED WITH HOW RELATED THESE VIEWS
ON SELF ARE IN TERMS OF THEIR SIMILARITIES. NEVERTHELESS, I

BECAUSE I LISTED A LOT OF PEOPLE IN THE FIRST PART WHICH

TIME BECAUSE I SAW THE DIFFERENCE IN THE NUMBERS OF THE
FIRST LIST I MADE IN COMPARISON TO THE SECOND ON WHICH
ARE THE PEOPLE THAT I THINK I AM IMPORTANT FOR. WITH THIS
SAYING, I PLANNED TO ALWAYS REVIEW THE TABLE FROM TIME
TO TIME IN ORDER TO CHECK MY COMMUNICATION AND
RELATION TO THESE PEOPLE SO THAT I CAN HAVE QUALITY
TIME WITH SOME, IF NOT POSSIBLY ALL, OF THEM IN ORDER TO
STAY CONNECTED TO EACH OTHER. ACCORDINGLY, THIS
ACTIVITY SHOWED ME THAT AS A PERSON, I CARE SO MUCH
FOR THE PEOPLE AROUND ME THAT I CAN PUT SO MANY OF
THEM ON THE LIST OF SIGNIFICANT PEOPLE IN MY LIFE YET I AM
UNSURE IF MOST OF THEM FEEL THE SAME WAY AS MINE BUT
ON THE OTHER HAND, IT REMINDED ME STILL THAT I AM NOT
ALONE BECAUSE EVEN IF I ONLY HAVE A FEW NUMBERS OF
PERSONS WHICH I AM SURE THAT HAVE CONCERN FOR ME, AT
THE VERY LEAST, IT IS NOT EMPTY SO, I KNOW THAT THERE ARE
PEOPLE WHO WILL BE THERE FOR ME.

ABOUT MYSELF
WITH ALL THE TOPICS, LESSONS, AND ACTIVITIES FROM THE
UNDERSTANDING THE SELF SUBJECT OVER THE WHOLE
SEMESTER AND WITH THE THINGS I LEARN, EXPLORED, AND
ACQUIRE, I HAVE DISCOVERED NEW THINGS IN MYSELF THAT I
BELIEVE WILL HELP ME CHANGE AND IMPROVE AS A PERSON.
THIS INCLUDES THE REALIZATION THAT I CARE A LITTLE BIT TOO
MUCH FOR OTHER PEOPLE AND A LITTLE LESS THAN IT IS FOR
MYSELF WHICH IS SOMETHING THAT I SHOULD REALLY WORK
ON IN THE FUTURE AS I SHOULD BALANCE MY PRIORITIES WELL
ENOUGH THAT IT WOULD NOT COST ME ANYTHING, ESPECIALLY
MYSELF. ONE MORE THING THAT I FOUND OUT IS THAT I AM
REALLY INTERESTED IN ACTUALLY KNOWING MYSELF THROUGH
DIFFERENT FORMS AND KINDS OF ACTIVITIES SUCH AS BUT NOT
LIMITED TO ANSWERING SELF-EVALUATIONS AND PERSONAL
QUESTIONS WHICH I THINK IS A GOOD THING CONSIDERING
THAT THIS IS ESSENTIAL FOR TAKING CARE AND LOVING
MYSELF MORE.
IN ACCORDANCE WITH THESE, I HAVE GAINED MORE IDEAS,
KNOWLEDGE, AND COMPREHENSION OF MYSELF THAT ARE JUST
ENOUGH FOR ME TO ANSWER “WHO AM I?”. HAVING BEEN A
PEOPLE PLEASER FOR THE LONGEST TIME, I REALIZED THAT I
SHOULD NOT BE LIKE THIS JUST TO SATISFY MYSELF AND
JUSTIFY MY CARE, SUPPORT, AND LOVE FOR OTHERS. TO
ANSWER THE QUESTION IN THE SIMPLEST MANNER I CAN, I AM
MYSELF NOT SOLELY BECAUSE OF OTHER PEOPLE AND THINGS
BUT MOSTLY BECAUSE OF MY PERSONAL INTENTIONS, EFFORTS,
AND LEARNINGS.
WITH THIS BEING SAID, I HAVE COME UP WITH A PERSONAL
MISSION STATEMENT THAT IS — “NEVER LOSE THE FOCUS”.
THIS IS INSPIRED BY WHAT I WANT AND WHAT I SHOULD DO IN
THE FUTURE IN ORDER TO ACCOMPLISH MY OWN GOALS IN LIFE
FOR MYSELF. CONSEQUENTLY, I WILL USE THIS AS MY
MOTIVATION TO SET MY OUTLOOK STRAIGHT TO WHAT AND
WHO IS RELEVANT SO THAT I WILL NOT WASTE TIME AND ANY
OTHER THINGS.
CORRESPONDINGLY, THESE THOUGHTS AND LESSONS THAT I
GOT FROM THE SUBJECT AND ITS OFFERINGS HAVE GIVEN ME A
CLEAR AND CRITICAL APPREHENSION OF THE CONNECTION
BETWEEN “SELF” AND “SOCIETY”. AS IN THE QUOTATION — “NO
MAN IS AN ISLAND”, THIS IS MY WAY OF UNDERSTANDING THE
RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN AN INDIVIDUAL, PERHAPS MYSELF, TO
THE PEOPLE AROUND ME AND THE SURROUNDING I HAVE AS I
THINK THAT EACH ONE IS NOT JUST A MERE PART BUT RATHER
A SIGNIFICANT MEMBER THAT COMPLETES IT AND IN RETURN,
THE PROVISIONS AND CONDITIONS OF THE SOCIETY ARE ALSO
CRUCIAL FACTORS IN THE GROWTH, DEVELOPMENT, AND
SUCCESS OF MINE AND EVERYBODY. GENERALLY, I PERSONALLY
THINK THAT IT IS RIGHT AND JUST TO INFER THAT I AM ONE
WITH SOCIETY AND IT IS ALSO PART OF ME.

BY TELLING HOW I THINK I ONLY HAVE
MYSELF UP TO THE TIME I LEARNED

“YOU” WHICH PERTAINS TO TWO
THINGS, ONE OF WHICH IS THE

AND THE OTHER IS THE PEOPLE WHO
