THIRD QUARTER SLAC SESSION

TRAINING PROPOSAL

I. TITLE: Learning Styles in Teaching Lower Sections in Preparation for the Third Quarter
Classroom Observation
DATE AND VENUE: November 15, 2019 at the School ICT Hub
PARTICIPANTS: The participants will be a total of 26 Teachers.

II. RATIONALE
In line with the implementation of Republic Act N0 10533, or the Enhanced Basic
Education Act of 2013 and upon the pursuant to DepEd Order No. 35, s. 2016, or the
Learning Action Cell, the school is tenacious in performing its task to ensure the
continuous professional growth of its teaching personnel based on life-long learning for
the improvement of teaching and learning. Since the quality of learners is very much
dependent on the quality of teachers, therefore it is imperative for the school to support
the frontliners of education in their quest to better themselves. This will aid the teachers
in construction of new knowledge for instruction as well as in revisiting and revising their
traditional beliefs and assumptions about education, community, teaching and learning
to suit the present needs of the learners.

III. OBJECTIVES
This aims to:
a. orient/reorient the teachers on the teaching-learning process;
b. familiarize the teachers on numerous strategies and learning styles in teaching lower
section classes;
c. create innovation/s and instructional material/s to improve learning outcomes.
IV. METHODOLOGY

The SLAC Sessions will focus on:
a. describing the characteristics of pupils in lower sections
b. discuss the learning styles in teaching lower sections
