Contribution of Freedom Fighters in Our Independence

What does it mean to be free? Many philosophers have penned works on the subject of
liberty. Freedom to do what we want, to perform whatever job we choose, to pick a man or a
woman, to read or not read, to express ourselves; wherever there is a choice, we have
freedom. The word "option" signifies "liberty." We are liberated. So, where did this liberty
originate? Today, we are where we are because of the battle and blood lost on the soil to set
us free. Today, India has a population of almost 1.38 billion people. We have this thing called
freedom after confronting death a thousand times for the nation.

Who was a warrior for India's independence? The

one who died with the vande mataram on their lips. We are fortunate to have a galaxy of our
country's revolutionary soldiers. In the war for India's independence, men and women were
martyred. India's past is littered with tales of daring men and women who made significant
contributions. There are many untold legends of India's freedom, from the Mahabharata's
'Bhim' to the constitution's 'Bhimarao.' Many generations and young people have battled to
bring us here. For the past 74 years, we have been singing songs of freedom, which is the
greatest success in India’s liberation movement. Self-rule has not come easily to us, the
cruelty was endless, but the resolutions were firm. Every Indian was a soldier in the fight for
freedom. The desire of everyone was to liberate India. The fight was real, and as a result, the
contributions were numerous. We are commemorating the democratic India with national,
social, political, and economic freedom after many years of independence. The war for
independence has not yet come to an end. As in the past, legends died for India's
independence; today it is our turn to live for India's independence. The contributions to
India's independence will always be legendary. No one has ever been born or will ever be
born like India's freedom warriors. Every move we do today is a reminder of the
contributions of those who faced a bullet in the chest. We owe a lot to the freedom we were
granted at midnight. Let us transform India for the better.

A homage to these extraordinary fighters. JAI HIND
