    Subject : ALARM CHECK VALVE ASSEMBLY

    Dear Sir,

    We are writing this letter to let you know regarding the information delivered to us
    during the coordination meeting held on January 19, 2023 at SPI office. We were
    informed that the owners of the units in Tower 1 will start their occupancy on April 1,
    2023 which requires the full operation of Tower-1 Fire protection system.

    Two (2) years ago, we asked for the clarification from the consultant’s office regarding
    the alarm check valve assembly because of the discrepancy between the drawing &
    the manufacturer’s available sizes. Based on the drawing the alarm check valve is
    250mm dia but the manufacturer’s data is only 8” or (200mm) dia. The consultant
    ignored our request until now.

    During our meeting yesterday, SPI representative instructed us to consult the other
    designer to check & review the existing designed of fire protection system in OLSD if
    the 200mm dia alarm check valve is possible for installation & cannot affect the entire
    operation if installed.

    We attached drawings for the designer’s review.
