CHARACTERS
Protagonist:
● Indarapatra - brave and wise; he is a king and a warrior;

possesses outstanding leadership qualities; caring for his

brother and his people.


● Sulayman - brave and obedient; he defend and protect his

countrymen.

Antagonist:
● Kurita - a terrible creature with many limbs.
● Tarabusaw - an ugly creature in the form of a man.
● Pah - an enormous bird; very large that’s why it covered

the sun and brought darkness to the earth.


● Seven headed Bird - dreadful bird; has a power to see in all

directions at the same time.

PLOT

King Indarapatra is the King of

Mindanao, and there are

monsters who bring chaos to his

kingdom. That is why he asked his


brother Sulayman to kill those

monsters.
CONFLICT

EXPOSITION
A long time ago, Mindanao was
covered with water and nothing

could be seen but mountains. There

were many people in the country.

They were living in peace until one

day, four horrible monsters appeared

in the land.
RISING ACTION
Kind Indarapatra begged his

brother Sulayman to save the

land, and Sulayman accepted it

and killed the three monsters, but

after he killed Pah, the wings of

the bird fell on him and led to the

death of Sulayman.
CLIMAX
King Indarapatra went to each

monster's place until he reached Mt.

Bita, where the third monster was

staying. He saw the bodies of Pah

and his brother, and he also saw a jar

of water. He poured it on his brother,

and it brought his brother to life

again.
FALLING ACTION
King Indarapatra continued his

journey and killed the last

monster, which is the seven

headed bird, and searched for

the people, hoping that there

were still alive.


RESOLUTION
King Indarapatra married a

beautiful woman who was the

headman's daughter. Peace and

safety were back in the land of

Mindanao after all of the

monsters had been killed.


SUMMARY
King Indarapatra asked for help from his brother Sulayman to kill those monsters

who were bringing disaster to the land of Mindanao. Sulayman killed three monsters,

but when he killed the third monster, the wings of that fell into him. That's why King

Indarapatra got alarmed and followed his brother. He cried when he found the body

of his brother, then saw a small jar of water and poured it on the body of his brother,

and Sulayman came to life again. He let Sulayman return home and Indarapatra

continued his journey to Mt. Gurayn, where he killed the seven-headed bird. After

this, he searched to see if some people were still alive, and while searching, he saw a

beautiful woman, but she disappeared through the hole. Then, after that, he saw an

old woman, and the old woman led him to the cave where he found the headman and

some of his people. The headman and the people were thankful to him. That's why

the headman gave his daughter to be married to Indarapatra.


MORAL LESSON

Being a good leader means

caring about everyone and not

waiting for any returned. Love

your country and your people.
