Monday there was not much to do because we did not have any appointments scheduled.

I cleaned the office as usual for the week and ensured everything was stocked and needed to be

refilled. The rest of the day I was able to work on my RBT class I'm taking to get a job working

with Autistic children. After I worked on a few courses it was time to close down the office for

the day.

Tuesday is a half day for me but when I arrived at the office I was told Taylor and her

family were coming in for a counseling appointment. Some of the other interns and I are close

with Taylor since they come in every other week for counseling. I was able to hang out with her

and play different games she came up with to keep her entertained while she was waiting on her

mom and sister. I was sad this would be the last day I would see her since I will not be here the

next time she came in. When they left we had a little bit of time to clean the toys and the front

room where they were before it was time to close for the day.

Wednesday was another slow day since we did not have any appointments scheduled.

The only thing I did was work on my class and answer a few phone calls throughout the day. I

also was able to sit outside on the front porch and get some fresh air while working on my class.

Thursday was busier since we had two appointments scheduled one at 10:30 and another

at 2. When we found out we had an appointment in the morning we vacuumed the conference

room and made sure everything looked okay for when they came in. We also made the bag for

the 17-year-old that was coming in. Since she was older there was not much we had to do for her

while she was here. Ashley, however, had us make some copies for her and reorganize a binder

for her. She also had us shred some papers of people's past interviews. When her interview was

done the other two interns that were here and I emptied all the trash and took it to the road and

vacuumed the front rooms we did not get a chance to do earlier in the day. After we finished

cleaning we made the bag for the 10-year-old that was coming in for the interview. Once they

arrived we hung out with the other 2 siblings while the sister was in counseling. They were here

almost until it was time to close but it was fun being able to hang out with them and also watch a

movie on Disney Plus that I have not seen before. However, since they were leaving close to 5

we did not have time to clean all the toys so someone was going to do that when they arrive on

Friday morning.

Friday was also a slow day since I am only in the office in the afternoon. I had time to

type up my journal along with doing a little more of my class courses. I also made sure there was

no trash that needed to be taken out for the weekend and nothing else needed to be cleaned that

we had not yet done. We did, however, have a last-minute interview that came up. Therefore, I

was able to make the 10-year-old boy’s bag and help out as needed since I am the only intern

here in the afternoon. I am sad next week is my last full week because I have been able to get

close with everyone that works here and they have told us we are the best set of interns they have

had. I hope next week I am able to do something rewarding and make my last week worth it to

help everyone that works here.
