CHECK-IN REQUIREMENTS.

Passengers are required to check-in AT LEAST 1 HOUR before the scheduled departure time. In case of
no check-in or late passenger, it will be considered an OPEN SEAT which is subject to resale to any
interested/chance passengers. Once reservations are put to re-sale, the Late Passenger may no longer
be allowed to board even if they arrive prior to the departure of the bus.

ONLINE VOUCHERS. The PRINTED voucher/confirmation pass must be presented at the CLC
Counter/Office upon checking-in for validation, together with a government-issued ID of each passenger
placed in the voucher. In case a passenger does not show up, the seat shall be FORFEITED and
considered NO SHOW.

TICKETS
Tickets are non-transferable and cannot be resold. The unauthorized resale of Coda Lines tickets is
strictly prohibited. Tickets are valid ONLY for the schedule, date and time for which purchased,
otherwise, rescheduled.

Coda Lines is not responsible for lost or stolen tickets.

LATE PASSENGERS
Passengers who arrive at the departure area/pickup point LATE BUT PRIOR TO THE DEPARTURE of the
bus, and whose bookings were put on resale, may rebook the ticket subject to next available trip and a
surcharge of 20% of the indicated fare.

NO-SHOW PASSENGERS
Passengers who arrive at the departure area AFTER DEPARTURE time are considered
NO-SHOW. Boarding passes/tickets of no-show clients shall be considered USED and FORFEITED.
Failure of a passenger i.e., in a group of passengers to board the bus (whether a single ticket is used for
the group), the ticket is considered USED AND FORFEITED. CLC reserves the right to dispose of the seat to
other passengers.

REBOOKING
In case of changes on the trip schedule, passengers may visit any of CLC’s office or call (0927 559 2197)
to request rebooking of the trip 48 hours prior to the original trip schedule subject to a minimum
surcharge of 20% or depending on the conditions. Otherwise, the ticket shall be considered as USED and
FORFEITED. Rebooking can only be made ONCE.

The validated rebooked ticket shall be considered an open ticket which could be used within 2 months
from the original date of trip and is subject to availability of seats.

Rebooking of trips on Holidays and Peak dates due to events at the intended destination shall be made at
least two (2) weeks, and is subject to availability of seats.
NON-REFUNDABLE TICKET/VOUCHER
CONFIRMED and PAID boarding pass/tickets are NON-Refundable and NON-Transferrable to any person
other than the designated passenger. Clients may, however, rebook their boarding pass subject to the
conditions set forth above.

LOST, ALTERED OR INVALIDATED TICKET/VOUCHER


LOST boarding passes/tickets shall be considered USED/FORFEITED. It will not be replaced or refunded.
The passenger will be required to pay his/her fare a new. Any unauthorized alterations without the
proper signature of authorized CODA LINES officers shall render the ticket invalid.

REFUSAL OF ACCOMMODATION
CLC reserves the right to refuse boarding to any passengers for valid reasons such as those who are
intoxicated, who refuse security checks, and who carry deadly/pointed objects or firearms (except law
officers and passengers with permits to carry).

Explosives, flammable, obnoxious substances or whatever thing that may bear foul to other passengers
are likewise strictly prohibited inside the bus or company premises.

BAGGAGE LIABILITY
Each passenger is entitled to two (2) pieces of regular-sized luggage or the equivalent weight of not
more than ten (10) kilograms, free of charge. Any excess weight is subject to fees to be assessed by CLC
or its duly authorized agent at the designated offices and corresponding charges must be paid.

To avoid delay of trips, clients with excess baggage must check- in at least ONE (1) HOUR prior to the
scheduled trip, otherwise, CLC may refuse carriage of excess baggage in order to avoid delaying the
departure of the bus. The company’s liability for loss or damage of baggage is limited to two hundred
fifty pesos (PHP 250.00) per client unless a higher value is declared and the corresponding charge is paid
upon check-in.

CLC assumes no liability for pre-existing damage, and damage as a result of normal wear and tear, such
as minor cuts, scratches, and broken zippers. CLC is not liable for loss or damage to fragile or perishable
items, money, jewelry, precious metals, silverware, negotiable papers, securities, or other valuables,
business documents, passports and other identification documents or samples.

CLC is not liable for injury to you or for damage to your Baggage caused by property contained in your
Baggage. In the event that your property causes injury to another person or damage to another person's
property or to CLC’s property, you shall indemnify CLC for all losses and expenses incurred by CLC as its
result.
The client assumes FULL RESPONSIBILITY for all hand-carried baggage and personal belongings.

DELAYED DUE & CANCELLATION OF TRIPS


In case of force majeure, inclement weather, flooding and other conditions that may affect the safety of
the clients, CLC reserves the right to cancel the trip or to change the date and/or time of the trip without
prior notice.

CLC shall not be responsible for any commercial and/or personal losses due to delay or cancellation of
scheduled trip because of unforeseen circumstances.

Having purchased a ticket, the passenger accepts that minor changes in the trip schedule, e.g. in cases of
delays due to traffic or other circumstances not caused by negligence of the carrier, might occur. In case
of late departure or full bus, the carrier may re-book passengers to an earlier or later departure subject
to availability within a reasonable time frame from the original scheduled departure time. Delays in
arrival time may occur, especially in periods with heavy traffic.

In case of necessary trip schedule changes, CLC shall inform the passenger via the contact details (e-
mail, call, message, any form of communication that is available) provided by the latter to further
validate the reservation. It is the obligation of the passenger to check the contact information they
provide at least 12-24 hours prior to the departure, to check whether there are any announced changes
in the trip schedule.

PRIORITY SEATING
As stated under the M.C no. 2011-004: For, Provincial buses other passengers may use
those designated seats if no PWDs shall occupy these seats at the start of the trip.

ACCEPTANCE OF CONDITION
Upon purchase of this ticket, the passenger is presumed to have read, understood and accepted the
terms and conditions printed herein. Thus, it is understood that the passenger signifies his intention to
be bound by all the terms and conditions as published in this ticket/ website.

The passenger also agrees that Coda Lines may deny me and/or any passenger(s) boarding in case of
failure to comply with the foregoing requirement and will hold Coda Lines free and harmless from all
and any liability in this regard.

ADJUSTMENTS OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS


CLC reserves the right to alter this Agreement at any time by revising the terms and conditions herein.
Passengers/Clients are responsible for regularly reviewing these terms and conditions.
