CHAPTER V: SUMMARY, CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

Introduction

The right of people to access the health services they need is a part of fundamental human rights

(Dr. Ghebreyesus, 2017). Equal treatment and good health services are necessary to serve all the

people. However, our country is confronted with numerous issues, including those crises related

to politics, economy, socioeconomic, and education (Human Rights Watch, 2021). But more

than that, the most pressing issue facing people these days is the concern of providing health care

to most of the population. Besides, people's lives have been disrupted because of the covid-19

pandemic, particularly in the field of health. According to the Department of Education, this

pandemic has seriously threatened the capabilities of school community health centers to provide

services to stakeholders (Malipot, 2021) and in line with this, the most problematic issue that

many schools are acknowledging has always been a shortage of school nurses. There has been a

shortage of nurses and healthcare providers since before the pandemic. According to Senator

Richard Gordon (2008), there has been a shortage of nurses in more than 43,000 public schools
in our country because most medical workers leave our country due to low remuneration,

resulting in a staggering lack of health workers in public schools. Until now in the middle of the

pandemic, this problem has remained a concern of the majority, especially the need for school

nurses' schools to have someone to serve the stakeholders, especially the students. Even the

Hospitals and the Department of Education also aim to address the presence of nurses in the

schools as well as the presence of teachers in order to develop and cultivate a safe environment

for students. Students who are battling health concerns and other personal obstacles are a source

of concern for teachers, that is why the availability of local health services stands out as one of

the most essential and positive aspects of the family and community.

According to (Garfield &Chidambaram, 2020), even students who do not go to school in person

are also at risk for health problems, such as difficulty obtaining health care services that are

normally given through school, and social isolation, and a lack of exercise. School-based health

clinics, school screening, early intervention programs, and on-site counseling provide health

services to millions of children, and these services may be halted at schools that are not available

for in-person instruction. Parents are likely to postpone care due to fears of getting sick or

financial concerns, and clinicians may be hampered in their ability to treat patients safely due to

changes in operations. The 13 million children (about twice the population of Arizona) with

special health care needs who require continuing care to manage their complex demands may be

disproportionately affected by these delays in care.

Upon knowing about the circumstances, researchers aim to conduct a study to determine whether

the BSCS healthcare service or treatment provides Sacramentians with satisfaction. Also, the

researchers would like the following questions to be answered, such as What are the healthcare

services offered by BSCS for Physical Health and Mental Health? “What are the healthcare
services that the Sacramentians receive right now?” and “How satisfied are the Sacramentians

with the healthcare services provided by the school.

Considering the problems that our country is currently experiencing, particularly in the health

sector, researchers aim to know about the level of satisfaction students with the given services of

healthcare in Blessed Sacrament Catholic School during this pandemic. And since, according to

Senator Gordon's remarks in Senate Congress, schools already had a shortage of school nurses

before the epidemic began, and this problem still exists today, according to the Philippine

Hospital Association (PHA). Therefore, the researchers intend to determine if that current

phenomenon is also influencing students' satisfaction with BSCS healthcare services during this

time of the pandemic. Descriptive research will also be used in this study to describe the possible

data about Sacramentians' satisfaction with the health care services provided at the school. The

variable being shown is the Sacramentian's satisfaction with the BSCS healthcare services.

Through the variable, researchers can analyze the situation of Sacramentians with the BSCS

healthcare service during this school year through the help of the students’ ratings or by

analyzing the satisfaction of the students. This study will also look into physical and mental

healthcare services during this current school year.

The focus of this study is on the level of satisfaction among students with the healthcare services

provided by the school. So, the purpose of this research on the Blessed Sacrament Catholic

School healthcare services is to find out if the current healthcare services adhere to the needs of

the Sacramentians during this pandemic. Researchers want to explore deeper so that they can

understand Sacramentian satisfaction by analyzing and explaining their rating scale on healthcare

services using statistical data.

Statement of the Problem

The researcher's objective in this study is to know if there are enough healthcare services to take

care of and give the needs of the Sacramentians in these current times. Specifically, the

researcher will find answers to the following problems.

What are the healthcare services offered by BSCS for Physical Health and Mental Health?

How satisfied are the Sacramentians with the healthcare services provided by the school?

Scope and Delimitation

The purpose of this study is to identify what are the services provided by BSCS healthcare

services to the physical health and mental health of students during this pandemic which gives

them a high level of satisfaction. Also, this study will highlight the analysis focusing on the

BSCS healthcare services provided to Sacramentians’ physical and mental health during the

pandemic. Besides this, researchers of this quantitative study aimed to observe and look further

at what are the factors in services of BSCS healthcare that may affect the Sacramentian's

satisfaction. This can be done by giving them a survey questionnaire through Microsoft Form to

analyze their scale of satisfaction in the different healthcare services of BSCS during the

pandemic.

Moreover, the respondents that will be selected in the study are students from the Junior High

Grade 7 to 10 level. Although the researchers only received 208 responses from a total of 252

Junior High School students, that is why the researchers limited the samples in this study to only

108 students since the way they select their samples was a purposive sampling technique. Also,

students who studied at BSCS during this school year 2021-2022 and who experienced physical

and mental health in the BSCS healthcare service are the only eligible to respond. This study will

be conducted in Blessed Sacrament Catholic School, Quezon City, and the duration of gathering
data will only last for 1 week, starting from April 28, 2022, and up until May 6, 2022, during

weekdays only.

Significance of the Study

The purpose and significance of this research are to determine what is the level of satisfaction of

Sacramentians with the BSCS healthcare services so that this research can input it and spread

awareness to the school institution and healthcare providers if there are any concerns in which

the students are dissatisfied. So that also, the school can help the school healthcare by providing

quality service, that will make learners satisfy their expectations regarding healthcare services

while school healthcare will benefit as well. The beneficiaries of this research would be the

following group:

School Administrators

This study may benefit the school by gathering more information about the situation of students

who are still experiencing other concerns about the healthcare service. Also, once this study has

identified the students’ satisfaction towards the health care services that they are during the

pandemic, the school will then be aware, which allows them also to be able to act or adjust

accordingly to meet and exceed the satisfaction of their students since health has become an even

more important aspect right now. When this happens, the school might also be recognized for

having great healthcare treatments.

School Nurses/ Guidance Counselor

Once the services that make the learners satisfied have been identified through the findings of

this study, the school nurses and guidance counselors will now be given an idea of what
approach or strategy they can apply next time to improve the services they may provide for

students.

Students

Since the students are the most integral part of an institution, they must receive better treatment

from healthcare providers. Because according to Human Rights, individuals have a right to

obtain a certain standard of health and health care. Therefore, students will be more likely to

obtain the service and treatment they might want from healthcare providers once this research

determines what factors affect their satisfaction and this study may also discover what services

have appeared to result in student satisfaction. Also, they may receive better treatment because of

the adjustments made by school administrators.

Parents

This research may benefit the parents of children with special needs. Since they are the ones who

enrolled their children in this institution, it comes with self-assurance that their children are

given better treatment that would make them satisfied. Also, the information gathered from

students may help parents in determining whether their child is satisfied with the school's

healthcare service or not.

Future researchers

The research report will soon become a review of related literature for future researchers.

Therefore, this would help them greatly in researching for their subject matter at hand that

correlates with the healthcare workers during the time of Pandemic.

Definition of Terms
The terms were defined according to how they are conceptually and operationally used in the

study.

Covid-19 - Covid-19 (Coronavirus) is a new strain of virus that has not been previously

identified in humans. Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses that are known to cause

illnesses ranging from the common cold to more severe diseases such as severe acute respiratory

syndrome (SARS) and Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS).

Healthcare - Healthcare is involved, directly or indirectly, with the provision of health services

to individuals.

Mental Health - Refers to cognitive, behavioral, and emotional well-being. It is all about how

people think, feel, and behave.

Pandemic - A disease outbreak that spreads across countries or continents.

Physical Health - Physical health refers to an individual's physical well-being as well as the

proper functioning of their organism, which is a normal state for those in good physical condition

who are not suffering from any type of sickness.

Sacramentians - Sacramentians is the term used to address the students of BSCS.

Satisfaction – Act of fulfillment of one's need, desire, or expectations.

Service - The work performed by providing help and assistance, the act of serving.

Treatment - A treatment means the way of care given to the patient after getting to know what

happened to them. It is managed in the application of medicine, surgery, etc.

Theoretical Framework
This study is primarily structured on the Consonance theory of patient satisfaction. Although

according to Arde Jr., Bernardo Oliber (2020), the outcome of the agreement between the

patient's expectation of care and actual treatment received from the nurse may be used to

determine the patient's satisfaction, as well as a predictor of the patient's health-related outcomes

and the institution's quality of care. Moreover, this theory will improve healthcare providers in

achieving patient satisfaction, and thus they can identify which services they have provided that

make patients satisfied or dissatisfied. Based on the theoretical model of Consonance theory of

patient satisfaction, if the patients and individualized nursing care have compatibility, the

patient's behavior will become satisfied, and they will enjoy the treatment or service of the

healthcare. It is also an effective way for their institution to be recognized for providing high-

quality care. However, if this is incompatible, the outcome may not be beneficial to patients.

In relation to this theory, nurses or healthcare must continue to create ways to assess and

improve patient satisfaction, as well as demonstrate the influence of nurses on satisfaction with

hospital experience because of their treatment. Patient satisfaction with nursing care must be

measured to assess and satisfy the requirements of patients in terms of care, as well as to evaluate

the quality of care delivered (Yalew, Zeleke, Afenigus, Yitayew, Minuye, & and Kassahun,

2020). However, based on the “Quality of Care from the Patients’ Perspective: From Theoretical

Concept to a New Measuring Instrument” 90, the instruments for measuring care quality based

on the provided conceptual model can be useful in quality assurance and improvement activities.

In terms of the performance component, it was discovered that patients' opinions are influenced

by several parts of the healthcare system, and so measurement tools should represent the

multidimensionality of the caregiving process.

This research topic is related to the Consonance Theory because the research topic aims to

determine the satisfaction of the students toward the health care services given by the school

during the Pandemic of Covid-19. Therefore, when this research is supported by the Consonance

Theory, the researchers and others may expect or determine the level of satisfaction that the

students at Blessed Sacrament Catholic School are receiving during the Pandemic because the

said theory is all about the factors on how the patients’ satisfactions are built up. Based on this

theory, there are two factors, which are the expectations of the patients and the quality of care

being given by the institution itself. So, in this research, the theory will be used to help the

researchers achieve their final goals. Also, since the research problem of this study talks about

the lack of healthcare in school, through this theory researchers may determine whether there is a

patients' experience or satisfaction during this pandemic by analyzing and identifying if

Sacramentians are receiving the care they expect.

In this study, the Conceptual Framework shows the IPO model for the process of data collection

and data analysis. For inputs, it specifies what findings from the variable of this study will be

discussed for the next process. It also highlights here the samples of this study by knowing the

level of satisfaction of Junior High students based on the healthcare services of BSCS healthcare

providers. In the part of the input, it serves as the outline for the process and with this they can

gather data about the different kinds of healthcare services that they have already experienced

during this time of the pandemic.

On the other hand, the details that come from the variable of this study will serve as a reference

for data gathering. The researchers have listed the methods or things that they will be doing in

order to gather the data or information that we need in our research. In this procedure, they will

administer an online-generated questionnaire that includes structured questions as well as a set of

questions that adhere to the Likert-scale. While the students are answering the questionnaire, the

selection of respondents takes place, where there is a question that is also included in the

questionnaire that can determine who will be a part of this study or who just fits our criteria,

since purposive sampling is the technique used. However, for the follow-up interview questions,
here are only respondents to be selected from each grade level in Junior High School. Moreover,

this procedure entails coding and analyzing the data derived from the Sacramentians' responses.

Lastly, they stated in their output the expected results of their overall research such as the final

findings, the interpretations, and the recommendations that the researchers can offer. This IPO

shows the whole summarization of the steps that the researchers are going to take as they study

the situation or satisfaction of Sacramentians.

CHAPTER II

REVIEW OF THE RELATED LITERATURE

This chapter presents the related literature and studies relevant to the presentation investigation.

These studies will be used as a guide and support our research.

LOCAL STUDIES

According to (IJAR), high patient satisfaction with the quality of healthcare services indicates

that healthcare providers are not putting forth their best efforts to fully satisfy the hospital's

clientele. A meta-analytic review found that better overall sleep quality and longer sleep duration

in children and adolescents are associated with higher academic performance. Furthermore,

Curcio, Ferrara, and De Gennaro (2011) discovered that poor overall sleep quality in students

from elementary school to university is associated with impaired cognitive performance, reduced

learning behavior, and poor academic performance. Similarly, Ahrberg and Dresler (2015)

discovered that better academic performance was associated with higher sleep quality prior to

examinations (but not during the semester or aftser the examination period) in a sample of

university students.
In another study, it was conceived in the context of the rising frequency of mental health issues

among college teenagers in the Philippines. As a significant social institution, the school must be

able to cultivate a social atmosphere in order to improve students' mental health and quality of

life. This study investigated the relationship between student involvement, mental health, and

quality of life among university students in the Philippines. This study utilized a quantitative

cross-sectional, descriptive, correlational design in a private university, 249 students were

surveyed. The findings indicate that participation in school organizations is linked to depression,

overall positive affect, and life satisfaction. Quality of life was also linked to social connections

with school entities.

The COVID-19 pandemic is influencing citizens' physical, social, and economic well-being all

around the world. People of all ages, genders, and social classes are afraid of the high rates of

sickness and mortality and the lack of immunizations. Misinformation propagated across all

media kinds, particularly on social media, amplifies people's fears. Filipino college students are

among the world's most active Internet users and social media users. The existence of COVID-19

cases in the area had produced concern among college students, which was likely heightened by

the abundance of information about the pandemic, most of which came from Facebook. This is

the first study to look at the impact of information-seeking behavior on COVID-19 knowledge,

prudence, and terror among students in the Philippines.

FOREIGN STUDIES

According to Muhammad Turki Alshurideh (2014), students satisfaction cues in

Jordanian universities' healthcare clinics are investigated in this research. The study provides a
student satisfaction instrument that considers healthcare service quality in the narrow sense and

educational service quality in the broad sense. Student satisfaction can be used to highlight areas

where there is room for improvement. Students' contentment is not always determined by the

degree of education they receive; in certain cases, giving a variety of supplemental services will

provide greater value and, as a result, contribute significantly to students' satisfaction. It is not

enough to know how satisfied students are with certain services; it is also vital to know what

variables contribute to their contentment and how they express themselves about the numerous

university services they use.

Moreover, the students in Japan High School where the boys participated in the sports

specialist course the participants were randomly assigned intervention or control groups in both

programs were administered for four weeks to evaluate the effects on physical and mental health

problems and self-efficacy in the CBT program. To see the result of handling the school mental

healthcare service in the eighty schools in Japan. The result of the intervention period on the

scale of the anxiety and depression of the group by the CBT is 40.1% of the students' mental

healthcare.

Besides this, according to the study by Xesfingi & Vozikis (2016), to enhance and

improve the efficiency of a healthcare worker's service, they must first evaluate the response or

satisfaction of their patients. Since the satisfaction of patients is influenced by the quality and

effectiveness of a healthcare provider’s services or treatment. Furthermore, they also stated that

the help of the government also plays an important role in relation to the healthcare system of the

country. That is where patient happiness may be measured because if the government is spending

on public health, it has a chance to contribute to positive outcomes and highly patient

satisfaction.
CHAPTER III

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY

Research Design

The researchers of this study used the descriptive method to describe the level of students'

satisfaction and to identify the healthcare services provided by the BSCS (Blessed Sacrament

Catholic School) in terms of physical and mental health during this school year 2021-2022. Since

the purpose of this research study only aims to know what the level of satisfaction of the Junior

High students is and to seek if their school has enough healthcare providers who can provide

them with correct and adequate services, therefore, a descriptive research design is more

appropriate to use because it can only be used to describe what students will answer whether they

are satisfied or not. With the descriptive method, one variable of this study which is the

satisfaction of Sacramentians can only be given focus and does not need to be compared to

another variable.

Data Collection Procedures

Researchers are concerned regarding the actual problem presented in this study as well as the

outcome of students' satisfaction. Therefore, the researchers planned the questionnaires that are

related to the research objective through a Likert Scale.

After some planned and organized questions, the researchers or the interviewers will now aim to

distribute the questionnaires to grade 7 to 10 learners; and when enough data is obtained the

researchers will select some students only those who respond and interview them to clarify and

enhance the reason for their answer or their ratings. The questions that will be asked next will

vary depending on the agreement or answer of the one being surveyed.

The gathered information or data will apply the average weighted mean, frequency distribution,

and percentage to conclude the study.

The researchers will look for various articles, related literature, books, and electronic references

that will help to develop and conclude the study.

The study is generated in an asynchronous situation wherein the researchers will send the

questionnaire to the participants through Microsoft Teams online with the help of their advisers

so that they can answer the questions at their convenience.

Research instrument/tool

In collecting the data, the researchers intend to use an online generated survey

questionnaire and interviews. The tool includes both structured and Likert-scale questions. Likert

scale is a close-ended questionnaire, and it is used in a questionnaire or survey that provides a

series of answers that go from one extreme to another. An example of this is a statement with 5

choices that start from strongly agree to strongly disagree, with less extreme choices in the

middle such as agree or disagree. Researchers used this scale because it is short, easy to

understand, and more efficient and it provides accurate data on opinions on a certain topic. The

researchers decided to use Microsoft form as an instrument to collect data. This was used for the

participants to access the interview through Microsoft form quickly.

Target duration

Researchers intend to collect data in 1- 2 weeks from the Sacramentians about their satisfaction

based on the physical and mental healthcare services provided by the BSCS healthcare providers

during this time of the pandemic. In collecting data, it is necessary to dedicate a prolonged period

until the relevant sample of the study is obtained and when the ideal samples have been obtained,

researchers will also take the time to analyze and make the statistical treatment of the obtained

data and information which is that will also take about up to 1 week during this school year

2021-2022

Sample and sampling method

In this study, researchers chose Sacramentians, more specifically the Junior High learners who

are currently studying in the school year 2021-2022 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic School and

who have already experienced the healthcare services provided by the school. Researchers want

to acquire their satisfaction with the provided healthcare services since the concept of this

research is about their well-being, they would be essential in conducting our research.

In choosing the research sample, purposive sampling is will be selected in this study to determine

who are the specific people or how many Juniors High learners in Blessed Sacrament Catholic

School have already received treatment in terms of physical and mental healthcare services by

the school so that they are the ones who will receive the survey questionnaire and follow up

interview. Since the question of whether they have received healthcare services during this time

of the pandemic has already been included on the survey questionnaire, anyone from Grade 7 to

10 learners who answered “Yes” will be included in this study, while anyone who answered

“No” will not be included and will not accept their answer. In addition, they will use the
purposive sampling method for checking if those samples are within the criteria or standards for

conducting our research.

Data Analysis technique

The data in the study is quantitative. The study's researchers organized raw data into a compact

form by displaying a series of numbers in ascending or descending order, along with the

frequency with which each level of satisfaction occurs in the respective data set. A column for

the numbers and a column showing the frequency of how many of the respondents chose their

respective levels of satisfaction in the given situation are usually included in the frequency table.

However, the results will be described for interpretation as their research design is also

descriptive but quantitative.

Furthermore, in this quantitative study, researchers used the Likert scale for data gathering to

identify the agreement of Sacramentians based on the given statement on the survey. Although

they use this to gather quantifiable data and they intend to analyze it using descriptive statistics

to help them to describe the characteristics of a certain data by providing summaries of the

sample and data measurements. The mean, mode, and median are the most well-known types of

descriptive statistics. However, the researchers analyzed the data by computing the General

Weighted Mean, or average, by combining all of the figures in the data set and then dividing by

the number of figures in the set. Also, they interpreted the result based on the Weighted Mean,

researchers computed its Likert scale interval in Microsoft Excel to determine what the

respondents' most general response to each item or statement was.

To determine the level of satisfaction of Sacramentians with the Physical and Mental healthcare

services provided by the Blessed Sacrament Catholic School during SY. 2020-2021, the

following rating scale was used:

Interpretation Guide for the Survey

DESCRIPTIVE LIKERT SCALE LIKERT SCALE

Strongly Agree (4) 3.26 - 4.00
Agree (3) 2.51 - 3.25
Disagree (2) 1.76 - 2.50
Strongly Disagree (1) 1.00 - 1.75

This study also utilized the percentage statistical tool or treatment to know the percentage of

frequency distribution or in other words, out of 100 how many percent of students answered the

different agreements based on the Likert scale.

ANALYSIS PRESENTATION AND INTERPRETATION OF DATA

CHAPTER IV

ANALYSIS PRESENTATION AND INTERPRETATION OF DATA

This chapter provides data analysis and interpretation that has been organized in accordance with

the research question outlined in the first chapter of this paper. It also presents the data gathered

in determining the Sacramentians satisfaction with the healthcare services provided in Blessed

Sacrament Catholic School.

CHAPTER V

SUMMARY CONCLUSIONS & RECOMMENDATIONS

This chapter contains the conclusions drawn from the analysis and interpretation of data in the

preceding chapter and the recommendations of the researchers based on the conclusions.

SUMMARY AND FINDINGS

The purpose of this research is to determine how satisfied are the Sacramentians with the

healthcare services provided by the school and to know what are the specific healthcare services

that the BSCS are currently providing for students. Although after gathering the data, based on

the survey results, researchers finally got the valuable information from all the Junior High

learners that have already experienced the services provided by the school, and with all the data

provided, they can now already answer the concerning questions regarding the satisfaction of the

learners as well as the healthcare services that are available in school in terms of physical and

mental health service.

Based on Table 1, out of the 252 selected students expected to answer the researchers’

questionnaire, only 209 Junior High learners responded. This means that not all Junior High

learners were able to answer and share their opinion. However, based on Table 2, out of all 209

students, only 103 students will eventually be included in this study. That is why only 49.3% of

the selected students are relevant to the discussion in this study. However, when the researchers

asked them about the specific healthcare services that they have already availed themselves in

BSCS, most of them choose Medication services which consist of 36.9%, since vaccination

services are included there, so in this situation, the specific healthcare service when it comes to
Physical health that many have experienced in school is the provision of medication. Also,

according to the report by Fernandez (2022), the Covid-19 vaccines for students ages 5 to 11 are

already available to be vaccinated so that they will be ready for the upcoming face-to-face

learning. Meanwhile, when it comes to Mental Health Services, most of the population choose

the Mental Health Wellness Webinar, since based on the social platform of the school, it can be

observed there that there is really often advice that is tailored, and sometimes there is an online

seminar that takes place about Mental Health.

Moreover, researchers also asked the learners whether they had enough healthcare providers in

their school, and based on their responses, 75% of learners answered that they agree that their

school has enough healthcare providers to take care of them. Also, from Table 6, 79.6% of

learners answered again that they agreed with the statement regarding the enough care and

attention from the healthcare providers, while 11.7% said they strongly agree, 7.8 % said they

disagree, and 1% said they strongly disagree. Although, based on the result from the calculation

in Weighted Mean, their common agreement on this concern is that they agree. In Table 7,

72.8% agree with the statement that they are gaining comprehensive and appropriate health

education during this situation, while 21.4 % said they strongly agree, 4.9 % said they disagree,

and 1% said they strongly disagree. However, based on the result from the calculation in

Weighted Mean, their common agreement on this concern is that they agree. Table 8 shows that

most of them again with 65.1% answering agree with the statement that they are properly cared

for by the healthcare providers while they are being given vaccines, while 25.2 % said they

strongly agree, 5.8 % said they disagree, and 3.9% said they strongly disagree. However, their

shared agreement on this concern is that they disagree, based on the conclusion of the Weighted

Mean computation. In Table 9, there were 55.3% which means half of 100% of the samples
agree that they are receiving sufficient and appropriate treatment coming from the healthcare

providers, however, the 14.6% said they strongly agree, 25.2% said they disagree, and 4.9% said

they strongly disagree. Although, this data results in an answer with which most respondents

agree based on the Weighted Mean calculation. Also, based on Table 10, 68.9% of respondents

answered that they agree with the statement that they can seek medical care anytime because the

healthcare provider was prepared. Although, this data results in an answer with which most

respondents agree again based on the Weighted Mean calculation. Lastly, from Table 11, 76.7%

of Sacramentians agreed with the statement that says that they felt at ease with the services given

by BSCS healthcare in terms of physical treatment. While 11.7% said they strongly agree, 9.7 %

said they disagree, and 1.9% said they strongly disagree.

Let us now move on to Mental Health and what the Sacramentians Agreements are. So, based on

Table 13, out of 100%, 64.08% of learners answered agreed that they had always had an

opportunity to ask the guidance counselors about their problems, while 7.8% said they strongly

agree, 21.4 % said they disagree, and 6.8% said they strongly disagree. Moreover, In Table 14,

63.1% agreed that they can easily reach out to guidance counselors to ask for help. However,

7.8% said they strongly agree, 21.4% said they disagree, and 7.8% said they strongly disagree.

While in Table 15, 69.9% of learners agreed with the statement that they are satisfied with the

online set-up for providing guidance or advice from healthcare providers, while 13.6% said they

strongly agree, 12.6 % said they disagree, and 3.9% said they strongly disagree. In Table 16,

most of the learners with a percentage of 70.9 answered that they agree with the statement saying

they can easily apply the advice given by online guidance counselors. However, 7.8% of them

answered that they strongly agree, while 15.5% said they disagree and 5.8% said they strongly

agree. Also, in Table 17, 71.8% of learners responded that they agree with the statement saying
that they were treated in a friendly manner whenever they interact with the guidance counselor,

however, 11.7% strongly agree with the statement, the same as with the respondents answered

disagree and 3.9% answered they strongly disagree. Finally, Table 18 shows most of the learners

with 74.8% answering that they agree with the statement that they received their desired

treatment from the healthcare facilitators, while 10.7% said they strongly agree, 12.6 % said they

disagree, and 1.9% said they strongly disagree. Unfortunately, when it comes to general answers

to each statement, it turns out that most of the students agree based on the computation in

Weighted Mean.

Thus, in these results, it is clearly shown that the Junior High students included in this study are

most of them satisfied with every service provided by the healthcare providers in the school

whether it is a service for Physical or Mental health because most of them agree -according to

each question where here you will find the student agreements. However, since the majority of

them gave a solely agree answer to each question, the agreement with respondents probably only

agree with each statement given to them, but their agreement with it does not reflect much high

their satisfaction. Maybe they merely agree, but they desire more when it comes to healthcare

providers' services. But other than that, there are still about half of the population who answer

disagree and strongly disagree with each question. One of these is on the part of questions related

to physical health, and this can be seen in Table 8, where the Weighted Mean on the Likert scale

appears to be the majority disagree.

CONCLUSIONS
Knowing and ensuring the health of students is necessary so that it may be managed efficiently

and without interrupting their learning (Healthy Schools Campaign, 2015). Hence selecting the

Sacramentians for this study helped the researchers find answers to the research problem.

According to the major findings, learners are typically satisfied with the mental and physical

health care services given by BSCS healthcare providers. Furthermore, based upon the results of

the summary of the findings, the most specific choice of the majority in relation to such a

Physical service that their school now provides is Medication Services including vaccination

services that are currently many schools are doing this in preparation for the upcoming face to

face classes of the students. However, other than Medication services, Physical Health Education

is a second choice among learners. Meanwhile, when it comes to specific mental health services,

the majority of respondents preferred the Mental Health Wellness Webinar, which is done

monthly at their school.

RECOMMENDATIONS

Our healthy future cannot be realized unless public policy prioritizes population health and well-

being. Every one of us has probably been frustrated with care that was rigid and impersonal at

some point in our lives. Individual experiences add up to poor safety, poor care coordination, and

inefficiencies at the system level, costing millions of lives and enormous societal costs.

Similarly, digital technology has made many services and products in various sectors safer,

faster, and more seamless. COVID-19 has hastened the development and application of digital

health technologies.

They should provide services such as consultation on health policy, health curricula, and

program and service evaluation; direct consultation with individuals or groups of

patients/students; and participation in the provision of health services at the school site or online

with covid-19 precautions. These fields have significant overlap and collaboration, with a mutual

emphasis on maximizing students' potential and addressing students' academic, psychological,

and social problems. School guidance or even school officials should concentrate on special

learning and behavior problems, school counselors on academic and career-related guidance, and

school social workers on family and community factors that influence students' learning.

Moreover, it is recommendable that the school of Blessed Sacrament Catholic School should

conduct healthcare services that have the least votes in the survey. In this case, there are two

types of healthcare services that are being provided by the BSCS, mental healthcare services, and

physical healthcare services. In the physical aspect, the most votes were on “Medication

Services” with 36.9%, while the least votes were on “Dental Services” and “Nutritional

Services” with 15.5% and 14.6% .6% votes, respectively. On the other hand, in the mental

aspect, the most votes were cast on “Mental Health Wellness Webinar” with 90.3%, while the

least was on “Psychotherapy Services” and “Prescription Medicine Service” with both 4.9% of

votes. With these data, it is highly suggested that the school should conduct more of the

following services: (Dental, Nutritional, Psychotherapy, and Prescription Medicine Services).

Furthermore, after knowing the results in a summary of findings and conclusions regarding the

agreements that the Sacramentians made become unsatisfied, the BSCS administration should

schedule a meeting with the school's health care providers to discuss the situation that other

Junior High students disagree with so that they can come up with a solution or a plan to improve

their services into an effective and efficient way.

BSCS can improve healthcare services by investing in first aid to effective treatment or upgraded

equipment for the physical and mental treatment services of tools and supplies and webinars to

give the knowledge of the students and the parents giving the healthcare services of the BSCS.

The school can assist school healthcare by delivering quality service, which will satisfy learners'

expectations regarding healthcare services while also benefiting school healthcare. BSCS can

also improve by implementing seminars with their staff and their staff to better improve, see and

address what else can be improved in their service. By being able to see the improvements in the

healthcare field and being able to conduct such feats in the healthcare services, the BSCS can

maintain its reputation for giving such a satisfactory level of healthcare services to the learners

and staff.
