STEP 01

Open Tripwire.

STEP 02
After opening Tripwire and Click on Scan.

STEP 03
Scanning process begins.

STEP 04
The Scanning process has completed successfully.

Now click on “View Result” to view the output of your scan.

 STEP 05

Output of your scanning is displayed.

 STEP 06

Click on the “Results” button, to view your existing scan reports.

STEP 07

Click on this “Details” icon to see more details about your

reports of existing scans.
 STEP 08

Click on “OVAL XML” (Open Vulnerability Assessment

Language), which uses XML based documents to define
vulnerabilities based on characteristics of a host system. It
can also be used to gather information about the host.

It will ask your preference to open xml file, recommended

to use any browser. Here we will select Microsoft Edge.
Then it will open that xml file in Edge.
 STEP 09

Click on “Summary Report” to view your tripwire summary

reports.
 STEP 10

Click on “Test Report” to view your reports of testing done by

the Tripwire.
 STEP 11

Click on the “Print” option to print the current open page in

Tripwire.
