An easy to install fire barrier system for small to medium joint

widths. The system comprises a compressible block of insulation
housed in continuous stainless steel foil heat shield*.
• Suitable for floor and wall joints 25-100mm wide
• BS 476: Part 20 and 22: 1987 tested (floor systems)
• ANSI/UL 2079 and ASTM E1966 tested for 1-hour and 2-hour rating
including cycling capabilities of ±50% horizontal movement. Lateral
shear movement of ±25% can also be accommodated

A blanket style system designed for a wide range of joint widths and
large movement requirements. Composed of layers of stainless steel
foil and insulation, contained in a stainless steel mesh.
• Suitable for floor and wall joints 25mm to 500mm wide
• ANSI/UL 2079 and ASTM E1966 tested for 1-hour and 2-hour rating,
including cycling capabilities of ±50% horizontal movement. Lateral
shear movement of ±50% can also be accommodated, along with
vertical deflection of ±50mm.
