Hello Parents,

 
My name is Rebecca Jones and I am a teacher candidate from Regent University. I am in my
senior year and my concentration is PreK-6th Grade. I was born in Bermuda but have lived in
Virginia Beach for most of my life and love it here. I am married and have two children. My
passions are teaching, singing, and writing children's stories. I have had the opportunity to work
with children in a variety of settings including being a camp counselor, a day school worker, a
youth leader, and a first-grade teacher at a private school. In addition, I have had the
privilege of completing my first practicum in a kindergarten classroom, my second practicum in
a fourth-grade classroom, and my last student teaching placement was in a third-grade
classroom. I have enjoyed all three experiences and I am looking forward to working with you
and your child in kindergarten for the next eight weeks!
