Dear Parents/ Guardians and Students,

My name is Miss Buell and I am very excited to be Miss Michaelss Pre- Student
Teacher! I will be working with your child and learning a variety of teaching methods
under Miss Michaels supervision. I feel that the best way for a child to learn is to have
hands on experiences and connecting the students interests to make the material
relevant to him/ her.

I would like to share a little about myself. I have a seven year old Golden
Retriever named Chrissy, who I love very much. I have one older brother, three younger
brothers, and two younger sisters. We were all born in New Jersey and moved to
Pennsylvania twelve years ago. I graduated from Jim Thorpe Area High School and am
now studying at Kings College to become an Early Childhood Education Teacher with
my certification in Special Education. I have experience working as a Teacher Assistant
for Kings College Early Learning Center, as a babysitter and tutor.

I am bilingual in Spanish and English and I intend to use this skill to help students
better understand materials in class for those who may need it. During the Parent
Teacher Conference on Thursday, March 9th, 2017, I will be available at 1:00pm-
3:30pm and 6:00pm- 8:00pm to meet the families of our kindergarten class. This spring
will be filled with exciting experiences throughout our time together. I cant wait to see
what the following weeks have in store for us!

Mi nombre es Seorita Buell y estoy muy emocionada de ser la pre-estudiante

de maestra de la clase de la Seorita Michaels! Estar trabajando con su hijo/ hija y
aprendar una variedad de mtodos de enseanza bajo la supervisin de la Seorita
Michaels. Creo que la mejor manera de que un nio aprenda es con experiencias
manuales para llegar a los intereses del estudiante y hacer el material relevante
interesante.

Algunos caractersticas y descripciones personales para conocerme mejor

seran las siguientes: Tengo una perra de la raza Golden Retriever, de siete aos
llamada Chrissy. La quiero mucho. Tengo un hermano mayor, tres hermanos menores y
dos hermanas menores. Todos nacimos en Nueva Jersey y nos mudamos a
Pennsylvania hace doce aos. Me gradu de la escuela secundaria Jim Thorpe y ahora
estoy estudiando en King's College para convertirme en una maestra de Educacin
Infantil con mi certificacin en Educacin Especial. Tengo experiencia de trabajando
como asistente de maestra para el centro de aprendizaje temprano de Kings College,
niera, y tutora.

Soy bilinge (Espaol/ Ingls) y tengo la intencin de usar esta habilidad para
ayudar a los estudiantes a entender mejor los materiales en la clase, para aquellos que
lo necesiten. Durante la Conferencia de Padres y Maestros, llevado a cabo el Jueves 9
de Marzo de 2017, estar disponible de 1:00 pm a 3:30 pm y de 6:00 pm a 8:00 pm
para conocer a las familias de nuestra clase de kindergarten. Esta primavera estar
llena de emocionantes experiencias a lo largo de nuestro aprendizaje juntos. No puedo
esperar a ver lo que las prximas semanas revelarn para nosotros!
