Hello parents of students in Pre-primary 3

My name is Mrs Tiffany Brunswick and I will be a student

teacher in Pre-primary 3 at various times throughout 2018.

I will be a part of your child’s class for the next two weeks
and then again for all of Term 3.

During this first placement I will be observing how to prepare for a new school
year and establishing an effective learning environment. I will also be focusing
on how to assess and plan for each child’s specific educational needs, in the
short and long term. Mrs DeWet is my mentor and will oversee my construction
and implementation of lessons, and co-teach.

I am completing my final year of a Bachelor of Education at Murdoch University

and will graduate with qualifications in both Primary and Early Childhood
Education. I have achieved excellent results culminating in the Vice Chancellor
Commendation for Academic Excellence Award 2017, as such I feel fully
prepared to begin my teaching career.

I am married with 3 sons, twins who are 16 and my youngest is 11 years old. I
live locally and work as a Special Needs Education Assistant at Malibu School
for 9 years. I enjoy reading novels and poetry. I am passionate about Children’s
Literature and developing that passion in children. My dream to become a
teacher is fostered by my belief in the power of knowledge and own enjoyment
of learning.

I am very excited about meeting with you and your child and being a part of
their learning journey during this important year.
