Road signs
Traffic Signs or Road Signs are signs erected at the side of roads to provide
information to road users. Pictorial signs are used as symbols in place of words.
As control devices for traffic, signs need full attention, respect and adequate
driver's response. There are three basic types of traffic signs:
Mandatory signs: Signs that give orders. These are represented by red circles.
Cautionary signs: Signs that give warnings. These are represented by red
triangles
Informative signs: Signs that give information. These are represented by blue
rectangles.
Street signs.

Learners can communicate personal information and basic immediate needs in simple terms
using grammatical structures and vocabulary seen in class (although there may and / frequent
