Engage  Ask pupils to give examples of plants that

are harmful to people.
Show to the class a picture of a plant with
wilted leaves.
 Ask the following questions:
What can you see in the picture? (a dying
plant)
Why do you think the plant is dying? (lack
of water)
What is needed by the plant in order to
live? (water)
 Plants provide people lots of things. What
should we do so that these plants stay alive
and healthy? (we must take care of the
plants)
Explore Group Activity
Group 1 – List down at least five (5) ways on
how we should care for plants.
Group 2 – Let pupils identify the picture that
shows proper care of plants
Explain  Call pupils or let them present their work.
