Pick one of the SCARCITY problems listed below: 1. Water scarcity (in China, India, Iran, Bahrain, Yemen, Qatar, Sudan, Venezuela, Algeria, Morocco, South Asia.) 2. Electricity and energy scarcity (in Nigeria, Sri Lanka, Uganda, India, Lebanon.) 3. Land scarcity (in Rwanda, Hong Kong, Singapore, China, Japan.) 4. Fuel scarcity (in Nigeria, Lagos, Abuja.)
Your research should cover:
1. Brief description of the country (Area, population, population density, literacy rate, poverty….) 2. Definition of scarcity, and in particular the scarcity chosen (ex: Water scarcity) 3. Reasons behind this scarcity. 4. Effects of this scarcity on the country. 5. Waste of the resource. 6. Ways to cope with the scarcity, and the role of the government. 7. Recommendations for managing this scarcity.
