slogan of its country. Good morning to the house at large. The delegate of El Salvador brings
you the greetings from the land of surf, volcanoes, coffee and bitcoin. Everything on this list
is easy to verify for any of the visitors been to EL SALVADOR. The Arctic regions legal status
has been widely disputed. For increasing their dominance over the region, countries have
been stepping up on their military presence in the arctic region.Not only does it impose
threats on the rights of the indigenous peoples but could destabalise the situation in the
region. We stand by the policies of our ally nations to promote peace , security and meeting
the sdg goals in the arctic region. El Salvador affirms nations that if hep is required we will
try to help in every way possible. We would like to propose some solutions that could arrange
for sustainable development of Arctic resources, do the seafloor mapping that’s needed to sort out
the conflicting territorial claims, set technological standards for ships that navigate the icy waters
and guard the welfare of four million people living within the Arctic Circle. Being the
representative of one of the smallest countries in north America, would like to humbly
remind you that the united nations were not built to divide, to destroy or to subjugate but
rather to meet each other, to build a better community of countries and to seek solutions to
global problems
