21st Century Communication Skills
Communication skills are another crucial skills as a part of four-core skill you can develop in the
21st century. It includes the thinking skills, writing skills, creative skills, technology skills and
leadership skills.
Thinking Skills are cognitive processes that we use to solve problems, make different decisions,
asking questions, making plans, organizing and creating information.
Writing Skills are important part of communication. Writing skills are specific abilities which
help writers put their thoughts into words in a meaningful form and to mentally interact with the
message. Writing is not just about conveying content but also about the representation of self.
Creative Skill or Creativity is the ability to think about a task or a problem in a new or different
way, or the ability to use the imagination to generate new ideas.
Technology Skills are your ability to use computer-based technology to complete different tasks.
Leadership Skills are the strengths and abilities individuals demonstrate that help to oversee
processes, guide initiatives and steer their employees toward the achievement of goals.
