Don’t be the Cause.

Else, It will be Our Loss

An air pollutant is any substance, whether chemical, physical, or biological, that alters

the natural composition of the atmosphere. And air pollution occurs either indoors or outdoors.

Therefore, the poster we created shows several instances or scenarios that occur regularly in

our lives which we mistakenly believed to be a normal part of our daily living, but which

actually lead to air pollution resulting in a negative impact on our environment and to our

health.

The causes of air pollution shown in the poster are as follows: Natural cause such as

volcanic eruption that brings ashes and debris which are pollutants, Industrial emission by

factories, use of vehicles that emit carbon monoxide, hydrocarbon, etc., Garbage waste burning

or pagsisiga which causes serious illness and diseases, Agricultural activities such as utilization

and spraying of inorganic pesticides and fertilizers, and Usage of synthetic and chemical

products that are main causes of indoor air pollution that occurs within our households. Some

indoor air pollutants we use daily are perfume and disinfectants.

The scenarios and practices in our poster that result in air pollution and have an adverse

effect on our environment and health should be avoided or minimized as much as possible.

Thus, we should choose to act morally and ethically, which we consider will lessen the harmful

effect it has. We should not tolerate practices that contribute to pollution or else it will be us

who will suffer and who will breathe unhealthy and unclean air.
