Generic structure analysis

 1. Abstract.

The story begins when Amy Dunne mysteriously disappears on her wedding anniversary to
Nick Dunne. Nick becomes the prime suspect in the case, and the media begins to highlight the
.story of the Dunne family

However, as the investigation deepens, the dark secrets of the two couples are revealed. It turns
out that Amy has pretended to disappear and is planning a revenge scenario for Nick's betrayal.
Nick fights for his existence by revealing the true truth about his wife's character.
2. Orientation.

Nick Dunne is a former journalist who has now lost his job. He and his wife, Amy
Dunne, decided to move to his hometown in a quieter town in Missouri. Meanwhile,
Amy actually prefers to live in their old residence in New York City.

On their fifth wedding anniversary, Amy suddenly mysteriously disappears without a

trace. A confused Nick reports the incident to the police for an investigation. Detective
Rhonda who leads the investigation finds a bloodstain and suspects Nick has killed his
wife.

3. Crisis.

A. When Amy Dunne, the wife of Nick Dunne, suddenly disappears

and is feared to have been a murder victim. Nick then becomes the
main suspect in this case, and the media starts to chase him.

B. As secrets in Nick and Amy's household are revealed, it is revealed

that this crisis is not only about Amy's disappearance, but also about
the broken relationship and mistrust between the husband and wife.

C. when it was revealed that Amy wasn't actually missing, and she
planned all of this as revenge on her husband.

4. Insident- reaction

A. Amy goes missing: On their fifth wedding anniversary, Amy

suddenly disappears and leaves signs of struggle in their home.
Nick was immediately deemed the prime suspect by the media
and the public.

B. Evidence pointing to Nick: Several pieces of evidence pointing to

Nick's involvement in Amy's disappearance are found by the
police and broadcast in the media, including the finding of blood
and Amy's diary describing her anxiety about their marriage.

C. After gaining great public support, Nick suddenly changed his

behavior and became cold and less caring. Later, the audience
 learns that Amy is still alive and has fabricated evidence to show
Nick's guilt.

D. Amy opens the voice: The audience then sees Amy and she
reveals her story live through an actual diary and voice-over. She
explains that she has lied about many things in their marriage
and that she put her plan in place to punish Nick for his pathetic
behavior.

E. Nick tries to prove himself: Nick, knowing his innocence, tries to

prove to the police that he was not involved in Amy's
disappearance. He hires a famous lawyer and enlists the help of
his sister, who eventually helps him find proof that Amy is still
alive.

F. After Nick and his sister find evidence that Amy is still alive,
Nick confronts Amy and she demands that Nick delete all
evidence. However, he later had Nick kill himself as
compensation for his bad behavior, which revealed his
psychopathic side.

G. Although Nick and his sister managed to thwart Amy's plans,

they experienced some losses along the way and their marriage
story would never be the same again. The film ends with Nick
and Amy staying together, but there are doubts about whether
they can mend their relationship.

5. Coda
Amy Dunne decides to return to her husband, Nick Dunne after pretending to be
kidnapped by her ex-boyfriend. she deduces that she and Nick stayed together because
they both have a dark side to them that understands one another.

ANECDOTE TEXT

“Lily And A Cake”

Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Lily who loved to help her
mother in the kitchen. Lily's mother was a great cook and always made the most
delicious dishes, and Lily was eager to learn how to cook just like her.

One day, as Lily was helping her mother prepare a cake for a family gathering,
she accidentally spilled flour all over the floor. Lily's mother, who was usually
patient, scolded her and told her to be more careful.

Lily felt sad and embarrassed, but she didn't give up. She wanted to make it up
to her mother and show her that she could be a great helper in the kitchen. So
she cleaned up the flour and decided to surprise her mother by making a cake all
by herself.

Lily followed her mother's recipe and measured every ingredient carefully. She
mixed the batter, poured it into the pan, and put it in the oven to bake. While
waiting, she cleaned the kitchen and set the table for the family gathering.

Finally, the cake was ready, and Lily took it out of the oven. It looked beautiful
and smelled delicious. She proudly presented it to her mother, who was
surprised and delighted. The cake was moist, fluffy, and perfect.

Lily's mother hugged her and told her how proud she was of her. Lily felt happy
and satisfied, knowing that she had done something special for her mother.

From that day on, Lily became more confident in the kitchen and helped her
mother with cooking and baking. She learned that mistakes happen, but it's
important to keep trying and never give up. And most importantly, she learned
that doing something kind for someone else can bring joy and happiness to both
the giver and the receiver.

Generic structure Analysis

1. Abstract
about a little girl named Lily who really wants to be a maid in her
mother's kitchen who is good at cooking. Even though she makes the
mistake of having a minor accident, she doesn't give up and tries to bake
a cake for her mother as a token of apology and as proof that she can be a
good helper in the kitchen. In the process, he learns that it's normal to
make mistakes, but the important thing is to keep trying and not give up.
And most importantly, he learned that doing something kind for others
can bring happiness and fulfillment to everyone involved.
2. Orientation

to introduce the main character, namely Lily, and her background about
wanting to be a helper in the kitchen of her mother who is good at
cooking. This text also provides an overview of the incident that occurred
when Lily made a small mistake in the kitchen and how she later tried to
fix it by baking a cake for her mother. In addition, the text also highlights
the moral messages taken from Lily's story, namely about perseverance,
patience, and the importance of doing something good for others.
