RAPCO Safety Recognition Program Overview

RAPCO has established a two-pronged Safety Recognition Program to promote safety at its facilities. The program includes both monetary awards for meeting safety goals as well as activity-based awards for safe behaviors and service milestones. The monetary awards are given annually based on achieving a Lost Workday Injury Rate goal, with each team member receiving 550 SR if the 2013 goal of 0.1 is met. Activity awards recognize team members who have completed five years without a recordable injury. The program aims to foster collaboration, communication, and a culture where safety is the top priority through rewarding and recognizing safe conduct.

Best Practice: Safety Recognition Program

RAPCO's mission is to render its customer excellent products and service in a safe,
environmentally responsible manner with the cooperation, support and appropriate
involvement of our many communities. A strong program to correct safety deficiencies
and strive for continual improvement of the health and safety program is an essential
element of successful accomplishment of this mission and RAPCO’s Occupational Safety
Management Team takes care of this in outstanding manner.

RAPCO’s Occupational Safety Management Team policies and procedures & RAPCO’s
Safety Recognition Program assist to achieve this mission in miraculous way.

RAPCO believe

"Safety Recognition Programs can foster team work, lead to mutual respect from
employees towards management, build strong working relationships and lead to better
communication within the office and workplace."

"Safety is not carried out in the safety committee meetings. Safety is on the floor, in the
offices and out in the field where the workers are."

Rewards are awarded on the collaborative results of the group. Instilling work
motivation to employees in our RAPCO GROUP safety programs does help increase
safety in the workplace; reduce work-related injuries significantly. This in turn,
improves profits for the Company.

The main purpose for the Safety Recognition Program is to drive improvements to
safety behaviors to identify problematic areas in the field by rewarding and
recognizing desired/expected safe behaviors relative to the data and actual field safety
performance.

RAPCO’s Safety Recognition Program takes a two-pronged approach to safety. Both the
monetary awards and the activity-based awards have proven successful in recognizing
employees for excellence in safety and heightening safety awareness throughout the
facility.

To ensure a safe work environment for all team members, RAPCO GROUP established a
Safety Recognition Program based on the following principles: safety is a first priority;
safety of the workforce has a direct impact on the quality and delivery of the product;
and attaining and maintaining a good safety record is always a goal the company
strives to achieve.

RAPCO’s two-pronged approach to the Safety Recognition program includes monetary

awards and activity-based recognition. This approach allows supervision and the
hourly workforce to approach safety from different angles. Monetary awards are
presented at year-end based on the facility’s Lost Workday Injury Rate (LWIR). The
formula used to calculate the rate is based on LWIR = (# of incidents x 200,000)/
production hours. (Note: The use of 200,000 gives a rate equivalent to lost workdays
per 100 full-time employees.) The 2013 year LWIR goal for the facility is 0.1. Each team
member will be awarded SR 550 if the year 2013 goal is met.

Safety Recognition Awards are used to recognize team members who have completed
five years of service with no recordable injuries.

Team members actively support each aspect of the Safety Recognition Program. While
the end-of- the-year monetary award serves one purpose, the activities-based awards
have been equally successful in providing immediate reward. At the same time,
heightened safety awareness has resulted throughout the facility.
