This is to acknowledge that I have undertaken Driver Safety Orientation on the date stated above,
and hereby declare I understand and undertake the following:

 That I will drive safety to the best of my ability at all times to protect myself, my colleagues,
and my company and client property affected while on driving.
 That I will abide and live by the “Zero Accident” objective, and will support this commitment
by adopting the company philosophy at work that says:

“Driving is never so urgent or important that I cannot take time to perform and drive it safely. It is
the responsibility of me to do my utmost to prevent road accident, so that all can leave the work
site and go back to my family and love ones in the same condition I arrive”.

I understand any wilful disregard of the responsibilities described above or relevant company I
project safety, and driving rules and regulation made known to me in the orientation will result in
appropriate disciplinary action, up to the including dismissal from the project or employment
termination.

PHILOSOPHY
“Zero Accidents”

SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES OF DRIVERS

1. Only qualified personnel licensed under Saudi Government Laws are authorized to operate motor
vehicles.
2. Ensure that his vehicle is safe to operate
3. Responsible for bringing his vehicle to the proper facility for servicing and repairs when required or as
scheduled.
4. Accountable for the mechanical/physical condition of the vehicle. Any damage beyond normal wear and
tear must be reported.
5. Responsible for transporting materials properly and avoid overloading. Loads must be properly secured
and tied down and should not extend over the sides of the truck. Loads extending beyond the front
or rear shall be marked with red flag and such load must be equipped with visible brake and tail
lights at the rear end points.
6. Drivers shall not transport unauthorized persons in Company vehicle.
7. Drivers and all passengers must buckle up their seat belts at all times while the vehicle is in motion. The
driver shall have full authority to any passengers who refuses to use seat belts;
8. Passenger who refuses to use seat belts; conversely, passengers may refuse to ride with a driver who
refuses to wear his seat belt. They should not transport passengers more than the number of seat belts
provided in the vehicle.
9. Drivers must comply with all Saudi Arab Government and CLIENT traffic signs and must be familiar with
what the Company considers unsafe driving practices and avoid them at all times.

TRAFFIC SAFETY

On site driving will be kept to a minimum and any unsafe driving practices observed will be subject to
disciplinary action.
1. Designated drivers shall have a valid Saudi Arabian driving license or equivalent.
2. Each driver shall be instructed on site Driving Regulations.
3. Unauthorized operation of vehicles (construction or private) will result in immediate disciplinary action.
4. Saudi Arabian Traffic Laws shall be adhered to at all times.
5. Safety belts for driver and passengers shall be worn at all times except in the case of buses where seat
belts are mandatory only for the driver.
6. At no time will passengers be transported in the back of pick-up trucks or on heavy equipment.
7. It is mandatory that heavy vehicles or equipment have a “Back-up Alarm”. These shall be in working
order prior to its approval to work in site. The towing of small equipment such as compressors, welding
machines, etc. is allowed only after the equipment is safely connected to the tow vehicle and the tow
vehicle has been adapted for towing. The towing speed of the vehicle must not exceed 10 kilometers per
hour at any time and comply with any local speed limits.
8. The traffic plan inside site area will be prepared and updated from time to time to have proper logistic
control after commencement of site activities, in accordance with site situation. The speed limit on the Plant
Site and Easement Areas will be maximum 20 kilometers per hour.
9. Roads in the vicinity of the Plant Site and Easement areas and owned by Client where Clients traffic
rules shall apply.
