The Night at Gerona

I wanted to submit this photo because it brings our Filipino Christmas spirit that we have always
celebrated upon every year of our lives. Almost every year our family went to many belens across Tarlac
and it always made my life happy, the christmas spirit always made me feel what i wanted. I waited for
christmas every year to see its majestic light christ belens always depicted christ’s birth which Filipinos
believe as a special moment in history, by reason us being mostly christian in our demographics it has
always influenced our national politics,culture and our way of life. Just like holy week, the government
knowing we are christian lended us time to celebrate one of the most important time for christians every
year. It is to my knowledge and experiences that we are affected by religion in almost every way,
influencing even our decision making and dictating what is good or wrong.
