Explain who should prepare the EIA and what qualifications they need to possess to
become part of the team and why?

An EIA team plays a vital role in ensuring the quality of EIA reports. An EIA is an

interdisciplinary study and, therefore, a team of EIA experts with various backgrounds

covering the social, physical, and ecological areas is essential. It should be prepared by

multi-disciplinary team. They’re some qualifications that EIA should possess to be part

of the team, they need to have a knowledge and also had an experienced in the

environmental conservation and also, they know how to have a sustainable

environment. Another is that they should know about water and air pollution control to

know that when they construct an infrastructure it can’t be added as a pollution but

rather, they can help to control it. Land use planning, it is important that they’ll use the

land effectively and cant destroy or harm the environment. The flora/fauna survey

management, getting survey near the area can help to gather important information that

may be needed to facilitate the area properly.
