I am writing to confirm that Cynthia Ozobu O. worked for ABC Sanitation Solutions Limited between 12 th March
2018 and 30th April 2019 as a Health and Safety Officer. Her annual gross salary including benefits and allowances
was N6,746,683.90 (Six million, seven hundred and forty-six thousand, six hundred and eight three-naira, ninety
kobo only) and 15 business days of vacation a year.

Cynthia was a full-time staff and worked for an average of 40 hours per week in Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)
Department.

Her job responsibilities were as follows:

 Steer the company’s HSE Risk Management system, oversee relevant HSE programs and trainings and
provide a safe working environment.
 Develop, deploy and evaluate health and safety programs for the management of hazards.
 Initiate stop-work procedures / notices to address an established noncompliance / conformance.
 Enhance employees’ skill gaps via adequate training, site interaction and best safety campaigns.
 Develop and implement effective health and safety inspection programs to ensure proactive management of
workplace hazards.
 Implemented an effective mentorship programs across the business unit and evaluate the programs’
effectiveness.
 Develop and implement relevant Health & Safety clauses during contract bidding and tender evaluation
processes.
 Carry out Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment and ensure control measures are suitable and
sufficient.
 Integrate Health, Safety and Environment Management System (HSEMS), into daily operations, track Health
& Safety KPIs.
 Investigate all incidents, near-misses and unsafe conditions, formulate follow-up actions and share lessons
to prevent recurrence.
 Carry out Health and Safety Surveillance and ensure compliance with regulatory rules relating to Health,
Safety and Environment (HSE).
 Determine employees’ Health and Safety training needs and closeout their skill gaps.
