1. Briefly explain each of the definitions of communication as mentioned in the first part of this
Unit.
a. Definition No. 1 (5pts)

 The goal of communication is to understand each other and to connect people even in unusual ways.
That is why communication is everywhere.
b. Definition No. 2 (5pts)

 Communication requires sender and receiver to understand each other and give feedback and opinion.
c. Definition No. 3 (5pts)

 Communication, then, is a conscious attempt to share information, ideas, attitudes, and the like with
others. Good communication does not consist merely of giving orders, but of creating understanding. It
does not consist merely of imparting knowledge, but of helping people gain a clear view of the
meaning of knowledge.

 Communication is a two-way process which involves an exchange, when a message is sent a reply is
expected because there is a receiver and sender and we can communicate in different ways.
