LCD Cable Selection

APPLIES TO:
All LOGIQ e/Vivid e/LOGIQ i units

PROBLEM:
There are two kinds of LCD cables (GPN: 5125944-3&5125944-4) in LCD Cable Kit (GPN: 5366398).
Refer to Figure 1. Field engineer needs to check and select the right one for the customer unit.

ROOT CAUSE:
For the Le/Ve/Li units manufactured after Sep 2008, new LCD cable with lock mechanism (GPN:
5125944-4) is released to improve the connection between cable and LCD panel. But for the
previous units, the original LCD cable (GPN:5125944-3) is still required.

SOLUTION:
After disassembling the LCD, Please see the connector on the back of the LCD panel.
1. If the connector is same as Figure 2 shows, pls select 5125944-3 LCD cable without locking
mechanism.

2. If the connector is same as Figure 3 shows, pls select 5125944-4 LCD cable with locking
mechanism.
