The students met the lesson objective, as evidenced by their successful completion of the exit ticket. However, the teacher notes that some students without IEPs may have benefited from additional accommodations, such as a change in seating arrangement, to help them focus. While the lesson was engaging for students and incorporated a fun comparison, the teacher feels clearer expectations and directions could have reduced excessive silliness and better focused the students. Overall student engagement was high during the interactive lesson.

○ Yes, the students met the objective. Every student was able to successfully and accurately complete the exit ticket. Through observation I was able to tell that most students had mastered the desired objective. ● Did the accommodations work? ○ I believe that I could have accommodated on the spot better. Although my accommodations for my students with IEPs were on par, some other students without IEPs may have done better if I provided accommodations. For example I noticed some students on the carpet were having trouble maintaining focus due to their neighbors. I will better plan for this in the future and better plan carpet arrangements. ● What would you change? ○ This was a really fun and engaging lesson. Although students were getting too silly at times. I think I should have given ground rules, and better directions. Perhaps doing this would have taken away from some of the excess silliness. ● What were the highlights? ○ My students were so engaged and into this lesson. They loved the ghost comparison to what we were learning.
