I am Tyler Timlin, an aspiring gameplay designer and researcher studying Gameplay Design and
Production at Staffordshire University. My studies are based around the research and implementation
of psychology in games design. Despite this, I am proficient in programming via Unreal Engine, and
have experience working in video game development teams.
More recently, I have aimed my studies towards player psychology, and games in a group setting and
have used what I have learnt to create multiple engaging games. Whilst my experience has been video
game focused, my projects have shifted to the study and creation of analogue card and board games
for the past few years.

‘MANIFEST: MULTIVERSAL COMBAT’ – SOLO PROJECT
Manifest is a Trading Card Game (TCG) designed during my studies at Staffordshire University. The
game was designed to act as a casual, 2-6 player game, adverse to the competitive, 2-player TCGs
that dominate the market. Manifest applied knowledge gained through my research into group and
Free-For-All dynamics in analogue games.
