theatre. Their act is different from the usual acts we might see on television or
even in films. Their act is full of emotions and creativity. The second in the main
objective is the Philippine theater groups are trying their best to restore the
Philippine Theater Arts. They don't really compete, but encourage everyone to
treasure this artistic culture of ours.
2.Would you like to attend a stage production of the various theater groups? What type

- I would love to attend a stage production of the various theater groups. My personal

way more entertaining than the other forms of presentations.

- One of the biggest festivals in China, the Lantern Festival celebrates the first full moon
of the lunar calendar and takes place at the end of Chinese New Year. The festival is all
about forgiveness and sharing love between friends and family. The Chinese New Year,
or Spring Festival, is the most important holiday in Mainland China and is also
celebrated by millions of ethnic Chinese around the world.
2. Describe the music and movements of the drummers of Japan’s Taiko Drum festival.
- In many taiko styles (including Tamashii's), movement is just as important as rhythm,
so in our view, taiko can be thought of as 50% dance and 50% music. Taiko movements
also tend to be hard and fast, and generally very tiring.
3. What were the facial expressions, body movements, and costumes of the Bali
dancers?
- Balinese dance could be very complex. The dancer has a view to exercize all of her
body's components from head-to-toe.The most essential aspect the dancer desires is to
consider that he/she has to constantly bend her knees, her back, and continues her
shoulders wide open.
4. What is the function of the Loy Krathong (sky lantern) festival?
- The purpose of Loy Krathong is to seek forgiveness from the Goddess of Water, so
we shouldn't stop doing it. We'd better reduce waste and use krathong made from
natural biodegradable materials. In Ayutthaya, people use krathong made of fish food
and bread. Ice krathong are fine because they are biodegradable too

Kabuki of Japan Kabuki is a form of traditional japanese drama with highly stylized
song, mime, and dance, now performed only by male actors. Kabuki theater is known
for the stylization of its drama and for the elaborate makeup worn by some of its
performers. Kabuki is therefore sometimes translated as “the art of singing and
dancing”. Since the word kabuki is believed to derive from the verb kabuku, meaning “to
lean” or “to be out of the ordinary”.
The Kabuki stage features Hanamichi- a flower path, a walkway which extends into the
audience via which dramatic entrances and exits are made; Okuni also performs on a
hanamichi stage with her entourage. Kogakudo-kabuki theaters that have stages both in
front of the audiences and along the sides help create a bond between the actors and
viewers Mawaro butal-the interior of the theater contains a revolving stage Suppon-a
platform that arises from below the stage Hanamicho-a walkway that cuts through the
audience seating area to connect the stage with the back of the theater.
