Labour is studying a
move to raise the
minimum wage to the OMR
360-OMR 400 (` 76,900-`
85,470) range, according to
Mahad bin Said bin Ali
Ba’owain, Minister for
Labour.
Currently, regardless of
qualification, Omani workers
are paid a minimum salary
of OMR 325 (` 69,450) after
the ministry issued a decision
