SOAL NO. 1

1. Identifikasi ragam bahasa yang digunakan dalam percakapan yang dimaksud adalah
sebagai berikut:

Ragam bahasa yang dipakai adalah bahasa informal yang digunakan dalam
percakapan sehari-hari dalam situasi tidak resmi atau nonformal. Alasan mengapa ragam
bahasa pada percakapan tergolong informal karena banyak menggunakan contracted
words (kata yang digabung) seperti what’s, didn’t, wasn’t dan lain-lain. Selain itu,
percakapan yang dimaksud juga memakai filler words (kata pengisi) yang hanya digunakan
dalam situasi informal seperti ‘oh hey’, ‘yeah’, ‘oh’ dan lain-lain.

2. The conversation above explains how they were asked about and the job interview they
felt when they first felt nervous.

SOAL NO. 2

I work at PT Riau Media Grafika. The location of my office is in the H. Imam Munandar
Street No. 383. Pekanbaru, Riau. The interesting thing is that in the workspace, many of my
comrades in arms from various regions in Indonesia are united to work here. Your feelings or
impressions of my workspace really like this job because it fits my basics and abilities. I
learned a lot from this company, got to know about the creative world in the media field
which I have always wanted. I have worked for 4 years and have tried several jobs in other
divisions.
SOAL NO. 3

b. The memo is to be addressed to all employees.

c. The memo is about the Invitation to Attend Farewell Ceremony We hereby inform you that
a farewell ceremony in honor of Jesse Carrillo, Marketing Manager, will take place which will
be held at 10 am on August 25 in Conference Room A. He left us after 12 years special
service. All staff are required to attend the ceremony without exception.

SOAL NO. 4

I contacted you to let you know that I have decided to change careers. Therefore, I am
exploring various opportunities in this talent.

Since I know you have worked in this talent for quite some time, I thought you would be the
