Global Health Initiatives

1. In your opinion, what do you think are the 5 most significant concerns/
issues that the world or nation leaders must prioritize? Cite reasons to justify
your claim.
: First is the climate crisis the world is facing. This issue has been getting worse
each year and people seem to ignore it even though they are the one’s who
benefit from our planet. Second is the hunger crisis. We all know that there are
still some countries that experience this due to its high prices or simply the
shortage of supplies such as vegetables. Third is the ongoing inflation. The food
and fuel prices rise dramatically due to supply chain issues and failing
economies, which leads me to the fourth issue. Poverty. Poverty has been an
issue for so long, but it seems that we can’t solve it. There are still a lot of
people who suffer poverty and just accept the fact that there will be no hope for
them. And lastly, the major global health issues. We are still suffering a
pandemic. Even though we have access to vaccines and treatments, it is still a
threat for us.

2. With the world still in the pandemic, how can global organizations or
initiatives help underdeveloped and developing countries cope well with this
medical crisis? Provide at least 3 specific actions and explanations.
: First is through teaching them basic things to do when a person has the certain
virus. Teaching them these basic medical things can help the whole country
progress even in small steps. Second is supplying them with certain needs for
COVID-19. In able for them to do the first step, they need certain things to
execute the procedure properly and effectively. Lastly is guiding them in
different things related to the virus. They need to know everything about the
virus and help them step by step to have a progress.
