ESSENTIAL THEMES AND CORE IDEAS ABOUT THE EXPERIENCES OF THE TEACHERS IN THE NEW NORMAL SET UP
FROM MODULAR TO FACE-TO-FACE LEARNING

Themes Core Ideas Statement of the Participants Original Statement

 In my case, 2 years ago

since we have our
distance learning,
Actually I am not in a
modular section but in
online section class, so
but still same situational
since they have different
teaching modality, in
terms of the normal
delivery I mean the face
to face delivery in the
teaching learnings, base
on my experience
almost half of the school
year na nya nag start ta
karun so there is really
sudden change in terms
of their behavior,
interests, teaching
learning delivery , I
mean the experiences of
my grade 3 pupils. In
terms of sudden change
of behavior, I was very
shocked kay hyper
kaayo sila so according
sa akong kauban na
teachers ug parents
parang bura silage
nakagawas sa hawla ,
grabe ka hyper.
Imagining they are 8-9
years old sila sa grade 3
at the same time
considering the number
of students so 40 ang
average sa section so
sa amo na teacher is
very hard to handle.
 in terms of teaching
delivery the distance
learnings go back again
to face to face so we
struggled regarding that
and in terms naman sa
ilahang interests makita
namo na playful pa kay
syempre lahi ilhang na
experience 2 years ago
while naa ra silas balay
at the same time labi na
ilahang pagka
responsible kai naanad
sila na parents ang mga
mag answer usahay sa
module.
 Labin na sa readings go
back to basic. I was
really shock na naa koi
pupil na grade 3na
cannot even identify
mga letter name, letter
sound. That is one of my
ecperiences in the
sudden change.

 For additional na lang

po so, kadalasan sa
nasabi ni maam.
Katulad ng amin mga
naexperience but as a
modular adviser as a
teacher maybe naa
siyay less work because
nakafocus na ang
adviser sap ag produce
sa modules sa parents
and also as a teacher
positively they have
time and chance to rest.
Not the same sa amo
nga nag online class so
lahi pod amoa. So
double sa amoa ang
trabaho and also how
we manage our student
how can we assess their
learners in modular and
during online class so
double amo mas
nadagdagan ang work
ug mas kailangan namo
ma assits ang learnings
sa bata.
 Additional, extra time to
give to the students kai
sa online class kay 45
minutes ra ang stream
time after that dili na
nimo siya mamonitor .
Lahi ra siya sa face to
face kay gikan 7:30 am
– 4:30 pm imo jud
mabantayan ang bata
labi nag naa kay
advisory class. Not only
teaching naa pod mi
coordinator ship so
tutukan pod, bali extra
work load pod sa among
part.
 In addition in my
observation the
advantage is
independent once they
came from modular at
home they became
independent some of
them. And others we
know that they help by
parents. Exploring since
they can easily browse
for their modules about
the topic that is my
observation. While the
disadvantages I
observed that theres
really a gap. Some of
them wala na tudluan sa
parents most of them
are only depending the
modules. The learning is
really different kasi in
terms of reading , in
math iba talaga ang
mga bata pag nasa new
normal. Mahirap kahit
even simple addition
and subtraction
nahihirapan pa. That’s
the gap na need namo
ma assess.
 Advantage kay more
chance maka engage
sila socially. One
disadvantages kai
disrtraction sa schools
tas makaexperience sila
ug bullying.
