Executive Summary

Our startup named Think Scrap has a goal to solve India's difficulty with the
handling of recyclable waste. It is a B2B and B2C model

We have digital platforms which connect various stakeholders- The

Manufacturers, The aggregators and The recyclers in the recycling supply
chain ensures complete transparency and traceability.

Households can book a hassle-free doorstep scrap pickup through our

smartphone app, which is carried out by local Think Scarp trained & verified
partner vendors . Similar to this, we offer small and large businesses solutions
that link them with scrap recyclers and aggregators, as well as facilitate formal
invoicing and payment ways between them. We have created a recycling
ecosystem that is similar to Uber and Amazon.

India's government has recognised Raddiwala as a startup.

INTRODUCTION

Scrap recycling plants and units are crucial components of the recycling
industry. They play a critical role in the processing of waste materials and
converting them into valuable resources that can be reused or sold. The
process of scrap recycling involves the collection, sorting, processing, and
distribution of scrap materials.

PROCESS
Step1-The first step in the scrap recycling process is the collection of scrap
materials. This includes everything from metals, plastics, paper, and electronics
to industrial waste, construction waste, and demolition debris. Scrap materials
can come from a variety of sources, including households, businesses, and
manufacturing facilities.

Step 2- Once collected the scrap materials are transported to a recycling

plant or unit for sorting and processing. The sorting process involves
separating the different types of materials based on their composition and
quality. This helps to ensure that the materials are processed correctly and that
the end products meet the necessary quality standards.

Step 3-After sorting, the materials are processed in a variety of ways

depending on their type. Metals, for example, are typically shredded, melted,
and purified before being sold to manufacturers to create new products.
Plastics are also shredded and melted before being used to create new
products or as fuel for industrial processes.

Step 4-The final step in the scrap recycling process is the distribution of the
recycled materials. This involves selling the materials to manufacturers who
can use them to create new products. By recycling scrap materials, the
recycling industry helps to reduce the need for virgin materials, conserving
natural resources and reducing the environmental impact of manufacturing.

In conclusion, scrap recycling plants and units are essential components of the
recycling industry. They play a critical role in the collection, sorting, processing,
and distribution of scrap materials, turning waste into valuable resources that
can be reused or sold. By reducing the need for new materials and conserving
natural resources, scrap recycling has both environmental and economic
benefits.
BACKGROUND
Our Startup is not just about protecting the environment, it is also about
generating income by selling recyclables. Recycling can create jobs, reduce
landfill waste, and conserve natural resources. By selling your recyclables, you
can not only earn some extra cash but also contribute to a cleaner and
greener future.

Here are some reasons why you should sell your recyclables:

Reduce waste: By recycling, you are helping to reduce the amount of waste
that goes into landfills. Landfills take up valuable space and contribute to
greenhouse gas emissions. Recycling helps to reduce the amount of waste
that goes into landfills, which helps to preserve the environment.

Conserve resources: Recycling helps to conserve natural resources by

reducing the need to extract new raw materials. When you recycle, you are
helping to reduce the demand for raw materials like trees, minerals, and fossil
fuels.

Create jobs: Recycling creates jobs in the recycling industry. By selling your
recyclables, you are supporting this industry and helping to create jobs for
people in your community.

Earn money: Selling your recyclables can help you earn extra cash. Many
recycling programs pay for recyclable materials like aluminum, plastic, and
glass.

Overall, selling your recyclables is a win-win situation. You can help to protect
the environment, conserve natural resources, create jobs, and earn extra cash
all at the same time. So, start collecting your recyclables today and take them
to a recycling center near you!

BY WEIGHT- 200 TONNES( FROM HOUSEHOLD)(B2C)

PRICING:
 High Profitability- Electronic items
 Low Profit Margin- Newspaper/ Cardboard items-45% Gross Profit from
customer to recycler, but the volume remains high for these items, more
logistics are involved and money is mostly involved in this part.
