A.

EFFECTS OF STIRRING
Slow stirring-no to little bubbles formed
Fast stirring-little bubbles disappeared

B. EFFECTS OF TEMPERATURE
Test Tube A:No bubbles
Test Tube B:Little amount of bubbles
Test Tube C:Clustered Bubbles at the top part
Test Tube D:same as TTA

C. EFFECT OF CATALYST:HYDROGEN PEROXIDE AND SDIUM IODIDE

Test Tube A-same
Test Tube B-Dark orange to Light orange, the sodium was evaporated then it emits
smoke then the boiling simmered down after that only bubbles stayed in the light orang
color

D. EFFECTS IF CATALYST: HYDROGEN PEROXIDE AND ENZYMES

Observations-Part of the chicken that has been dropped bu Hydrogen Peroxide became
white and elastic within the process the chicken bubbled then the inside became brown

E. CONCLUSION
In conclusion, the rate of reaction of hydrogen peroxide increases when its stirring, when
temperature increases rate of reaction is high vice versa, indicating the decomposition of
hydrogen peroxide and oxygen gas

F. POST LABORATORY QUESTIONS

1,How does stirring affect the rate of a reaction? Will shaling the beaker with hydrogen
peroxide produce a similar effect ? why or why not?
-It helps speed up the dissolution process, Yes, because it will produce the same effects
and it may produce more bubbles

2.How wil you explain your observations on the chicken liver with hydrogen peroxide?
-it formed bubbles and it happened because of the enzymes of the liver react to
hydrogen peroxide to form gas which were the bubbles

3.Study the product label of the hydrogen peroxide solution. What is the recommended
storage temperature for the product. Many manufacturers recommend storage
temperatures of less than or equal to 30C.Why do you think this is so?
-Below human body temperature because any temp hotter would have damaged the
enyzmes and a decreased of bubbles formed
