    Tentative Title

    There’s a saying how a picture is worth a thousand words, the framed photo that is now
    collecting dust on my bed-side table back home always felt like it was more, a living, breathing
    entity of flesh and blood. The said photo in the flimsy frame is a preserved memory that I now
    cherish dearly. A still of five smiley faces showing their gums and all (we got it from our
    grandma) staring with constellations in their eyes with the carousel as the backdrop. The photo
    was taken on a sunny winter day, all 5 of us draped in cozy winter wear huddling close to
    grandma to take in all the heat she was giving off, the photo almost makes me forget she’s not
    with us anymore.
