ii. After removing the case, the battery connector marked with the red arrow,
unplug and replace it with new. This battery needs to be secured with double
side tape at its location. Once replaced assemble back.

2 Configuring BIOS
After replacing battery with new, BIOS settings will be back to default. You need to
configure again to get PC operational.

i. Connect keyboard, mouse and monitor to PC and power up.

ii. Press ‘del’ key at while starting at ‘Sinotrans’ page to enter BIOS setup.
iii. Navigate to advanced tab --> IDE Configuration and press ‘enter’.

iv. Go to ‘Configure SATA as’ and press ‘enter’.

v. It should now prompt you to ‘configure SATA as’. This must be set to AHCI,
NOT IDE

vi. Select AHCI and press enter.

vii. After changing to AHCI, display should look as per below.

viii. Press ‘F4’ to save and exit, select ‘yes’ to save configuration and PC restarts.

i. ** CR2032W 3.0V
** In the past years we had several problems shipping the present Lithium battery by air or courier due to new
international rules regarding Lithium Ion / Metal batteries. Therefore, the battery CR2032W will have to be sourced
locally.
