NO MAN IS AN ISLAND

SOCIALIZATION
Socialization is a lifelong process of social
interaction through which people acquire
their identities and necessary survival skills
in society.

AND AGGREGATES?
SOCIAL GROUPS AND AGGREGATES

is a collection of individuals who have a mere collection of people within a

Group
REFERENCE GROUP
A reference group is
a group of people to whom we compare
ourselves. We use reference groups to guide our
behavior and attitudes and
help us to identify ourselves within our social
norms.
NETWORK GROUP
Network group is a social structure between
actors, connecting them through various social
familiarities.
SELF- CATEGORIZATION
THEORY
Social categorization refers to
the classification of other
individuals into particular group
memberships based on
characteristics deemed
meaningful by society.
Remember to exercise
kindness with yourself
and those around you.
Treat yourself and your classmates with compassion and respect.
