1.

Composition and working principle

The splitter is composed of hydraulic power station, splitter gun and high pressure oil
pipe. The splitter is in the component part, which includes hydraulic cylinder, outer
wedge, middle wedge, sliding groove. When the splitting machine works, the middle
wedge is pushed forward by the hydraulic cylinder, and the outer wedge is extruded by
the movement, and thus the purpose of splitting is realized.

3. Use method and steps

1) Connection: the splitter is connected with the oil port of the hydraulic pump
station, w hich can be con nected at will. Just keep in mind the relationship between
the reversing valve of the pumping station and the opening and closing position of
the splitter

2) Start up: After connecting the pipeline, put the reversing handle in the middle
position before starting the machine. The motor can be jogged several times when it
is used for the first time or for a long time to empty the air in the pipeline. Turn off
the motor when not in use to avoid excessive oil temperature due to idling agitation.

3) Reversing: Reversing: Turn the reversing handle to one side, the middle wedge
protrudes and the outer wedges open; place the reversing handle in the middle
position, and the center wedge stops moving; turn the reversing handle to the other
side, and the center wedge retracts. The outer wedges are closed. After splitting,
place the reversing handle in the neutral position.

4) Punch the hole: Drilling: Choose a >46mm drill bit (depending on the model and the
splitter) to drill perpendicular to the split plane, the drilling depth is greater than 700mm (it
is best to use a benchmark to measure the drilling depth after drilling), and the drilling
spacing is 300-500mm When the split object is concrete, the hole spacing can be
appropriately adjusted according to the density of the steel bar. When the split object is
stone, the hole spacing can be adjusted appropriately according to the hardness of the
stone.
5) Lubrication: Extend the middle wedge before use, and apply special grease on the
stressed surface and inner groove of the outer wedge. Every 5-10 times of use, apply
grease on the surface of the outer wedge to fully reduce friction and increase Actual
splitting force for extended life.

6) Placement: When placing, the splitter should be slowly inserted into the drilling hole until
the splitter is fully inserted.

7) Observation of the split position: After the splitter is fully inserted into the hole, open
the reversing valve. At this time, the middle wedge moves down, and after splitting, the
reversing valve is pulled to change direction. After the middle wedge is fully retracted,
the reversing valve is adjusted to the middle position, waiting for the next use.

8) Take out: When the middle wedge is completely retracted, it can be taken out vertically.

4. Precautions

1) About drilling: drilling must be vertical split surface, hole depth is greater than
700mm, otherwise it will lead to the fracture of the outer wedge and the
deformation of the middle wedge, so that the whole splitting machine can not be
used.
2) Regarding the radial direction: It is forbidden to insert the splitter head by shaking the
hydraulic cylinder left and right, and it is forbidden to press the rocking splitter cylinder
during the splitting process. Otherwise, the piston rod and cylinder seals will be deformed,
resulting in leakage of hydraulic oil. When inserting and taking out the splitter, try to handle it
gently and slowly, and use the front and rear handles to carry it during transportation.

3) Regarding the replacement of seals: When replacing the seals on the hydraulic
pump, care should be taken to ensure that the sealing grooves and seals are clean
to avoid residues affecting the sealing effect. When opening the hydraulic cylinder
to replace the piston rod and the seal in the cylinder, use the hydraulic pump
station to push out the piston rod. When pushing out the piston rod, be sure to tap
the switch several times. The hydraulic pump station is placed far away from the
hydraulic cylinder. Location. Before operation, it is forbidden to place the hydraulic
cylinder upright. The hydraulic cylinder must be placed horizontally on the ground.
Personnel cannot stand in front of or behind it. They must stand far away from the
left and right of the hydraulic cylinder to prevent the piston rod from flying out due
to strong thrust. Hurt.

4) Inspection of fasteners: Check the fasteners on the pump body before use, and
fasten them in time if they are found to be loose.

5) As for the working pressure, the working pressure of the power station and the
splitting gun of the splitter is 63Mpa and cannot be increased without
permission.

5. Fault and troubleshooting methods

1) The oil pressure is too low, because the high-pressure pump


sucks in air, it needs to be emptied

2) Cylinder does not move:

a. Check whether the power station is leaking oil, see if there is


oil pressure on the pressure gauge, if the pressure reaches
38Mpa when starting up, it means that the power station is
operating normally, and put the reversing valve in the neutral
position to release the pressure.

b. If the power unit is normal, check whether the joints are tightened or blocked. Sometimes

the air is mixed in the hydraulic pipe due to sun exposure or oil leakage, resulting in

excessive oil pressure at no-load. Connect the oil inlet and outlet of the pump station with

the same pipe, start the machine and drain it.


c. Check whether the oil cylinder is leaking (the seal is damaged, the oil cylinder is swollen,
deformed or broken).
d. Check the reversing valve for damage. Because the mixed connection of the inlet and
outlet oil pipes may cause damage to the seal ring of the reversing valve and oil leakage,
disassemble the reversing valve and replace the corresponding seals.

3. When the temperature is too low or outdoor operation in severe cold, if there is oil
pressure but the wedge does not move or is quite slow, it may be caused by the
temperature of the hydraulic oil being too low and the viscosity too high. A hydraulic oil
pipe can be used to connect the oil outlet and the oil return port, and the oil temperature
can be increased by circulating the oil for a period of time after starting the machine.
During construction in winter, it is best to place the splitter indoors to reach room
temperature before use, or run it several times without load before using it with load.
When the ambient temperature is lower than 10°C, No. 46 hydraulic oil can be used
instead.
4. Splinter does not move:
(1) The hole space is too large or the reinforcement inside the concrete is too
dense, adjust the hole position properly or increase the number of splitter at the
same time.
(2) Take out the splitter and check whether the power station pressure reaches
the rated pressure
(3) Insufficient lubrication of the wedge will result in excessive friction and affect
the splitting force. It is recommended to purchase the company's special lubricating oil
for splitters.
(4) If the pressure of the power station is normal, after connecting the splitter, the
pressure at the end of the stroke is much lower than the rated pressure. Unscrew the
female port of the joint between the oil return pipe and the power station, put the oil
pipe directly into the oil tank filler port to return oil, and place the reversing handle in
the extended position or retracted position. When the middle wedge moves to the end
position, check whether the oil return pipe is If there is an oil column gushing out, if it
is possible that the upper sealing ring sealed in the reversing valve is aging and
damaged, just replace it. If it still cannot be solved, observe whether the end face of
the sealing plug in the reversing valve is worn, just take it out and grind it. Under
sufficient lubrication, if the power station is normal, the reversing valve is normal, the
oil circuit is unblocked, and the hydraulic cylinder does not move or the pressure at
both ends of the stroke is zero, it may be that the piston rod sealing ring is worn and
leaking oil, and the piston tube seal must be replaced.
Instructions for use of electric oil
pump

1. The working medium is No. 68 hydraulic oil, and No . 46 hydraulic oil can be
used when the ambient temperature is below 10℃.
2. The liquid level of the oil tank should always be above the middle line of the oil
label in the work to prevent th e oil pump from sucking out. Apply 120-mesh filter screen
when refueling. For frequent use, clean the oil filter once every two months and the
tank once half a year, while replacing the new oil. According to the actual situation of the
oil pump, the cleaning and oil change cycle can be shortened.
3. The norm al working oil temperatu re of the oil pump is 2 0 -50 ℃. Ifthe oil
temperature is too high, cooling measures should be taken.
4. When working for the first time, the unloading valve needs to be opened, and the
pump can be put into use only after the pump is completely emptied and the oil
output is normal. If there is no unloading valve, use the reversing valve to complete
the above operations after connecting the splitter.
5. The pressure set by the pump when it leaves the factory cannot be adjusted up
privately, and it can be adjusted down appropriately according to the actual working
conditions.
6. When the high-pressure hose leaves the factory, it has passed a pressure test of
1.25 times the rated pressure. Due to the aging of the hose, users should pay
attention to regular inspections, once every six months, when using them for a long
time. When checking and doing the pressure test, if there is a leak or a burst, it must
be replaced. When using, sharp bends should be avoided, and at the same time, it
should not be too close to the rubber hose, so as to avoid blasting and hurting
people.
7. The pump should be overhauled once a year. Clean all parts with gasoline. Pay
attention to protect the mating surfaces and sealing parts. After assembly, the moving
parts should be flexible and free from jamming.

Preparations for electric oil pump before use

1. Fill the oil tank with No. 46 or No. 68 anti-wear hydraulic oil. Pay attention to the
liquid level gauge on the side of the fuel tank. The amount of oil injected should exceed
the "0" mark of the liquid level gauge, about 22-60L of hydraulic oil.
2. It is necessary to use a >46# drill bit for drilling, the hole spacing is 300-500mm, the
hole depth is greater than 700mm, and there must be no foreign matter in the hole.
3. Please apply grease (butter) to the middle of the splitting gun and the inside of the
outer wedge before use, and apply grease again after using it for 3-5 times. To ensure
sufficient lubrication and reduce friction.
4. Use three-phase electricity to connect the power station.
5. Observation of the split position: After the splitter is completely inserted into the hole,
open the reversing valve. At this time, the middle wedge moves down, and after
splitting, the reversing valve is pulled to change direction. After the middle wedge is
fully retracted, the reversing valve is adjusted to the middle position, waiting for the
next use. (You can also observe the pressure gauge on the power station. When the
pointer reaches "60", the middle wedge is at the top or fully retracted.)
6. After the middle wedge is fully retracted, remember to return the reversing valve to
the middle position.
