1. General Principles

The installation and the technical requirements of operation this


manual describes can't be served as the user's installation and operation
of the technical regulations. This manual only prompts the technical
requirements that should be paid attention to or guaranteed for this type
of products in the installation and operation. Reference to the
requirements of installation, operation, repair and maintenance, users
should compile the safety regulations for operation and routines of
work based on the specific circumstances its own,to ensure the fan's
long-term safety and stable running. The installation and operation
regulations that prepared should be consistent with the national
standard and the Ministry's standard.

This specification mainly describes unit of the blower.

Packing-case of the products should be stored indoors and damp


proofing,the product should be properly kept or stored if can not be
installed immediately when shipped to the user,and regularly (usually
every four months) to open the packing-case to check whether the
surface of the product components were corroded。

2. Structure Description

The centrifugal blower of type D600-31 has the characteristics of high


pressure, stable performance curve, high efficient, changes of pressure
will not influence volume and it has high applicability of changes
happened in pipe network system’s work position.The centrifugal
blower of type D600-31 has the characteristics of energy saving, low
noise, running stability, few wearing part , convenient for installing,

operating ,maintennance, and its motor is not easy to overload. The
casing made of cast iron, it can be of benefit to enhance rigidity of the
casing , to prevent vibration and absorb noise.

The centrifugal blower of type D600-31 has a multi stages ,single


suction ,center impeller structure ,driven with flexible coupling and
motor direct connection.

Main constructures of centrifugal blower are casing, bearing house,


seal and rotor. Labyrinth seal will be installen between every impeller
inlet ring and stage to avoid gas leak. Every rotor will go through the
static and dynamic balancing process.

D600-31 centrifugal blower bearing housing is flange-connected with


the casing, made of HT250. The centrifugal blower is use of a plain
bearing. Bearing is forced feed oil lubrication by the lube unit for
L-TSA32 or L-TSA46 turbine oil. Lubrication system includes the
main oil pump, electric oil pump, oil tank, oil cooler, oil filter, overhead
lube and so on. Because of the power failure, the machine stops. The
overhead could maintain session to ensure the safety of lubrication
unit.

3. Performance Parameter

4. Installation

4.1 Be acquainted with the technical requirements in the


specification at first, check if all the fitting parts and technical
documents are complete followed before assembly.

4.2 Check up on the blower, if the machine members were broken


during the running process or after a long-term store; whether there is
dross inclusion fallen into the flow channel of the blower. Then turning
and see whether the fan rotates flexibly without friction, or else
disposal the causes firstly.

4.3 Build the foundation according to the outside drawing and


foundation drawing (for indication only). Prevent oversize slope,adjust
axiality of the coupling (axiality tolerance is Ф0.12mm), and keep the
gap 3-5mm or so between two half couplings when assembled.

4.4 Cut down canal possibly, use sluice gate and bend as few as
possible to decrease the pressure loss. All erection joints should be
compactly to ensure there is none gas escaped. Among all the parallel
connection fans through the main blast line should not have
phenomenon of mutual float.

4.5 According to characteristic of the centrifugal blower, adjust


blast pressure and air volume not using vent valve but sluice gate in air
inlet and air outlet.

4.6 Adopt corresponding grade explosion protection according to
specific situation toward to the assorted motor, install the current
protection in case of the breakage of motor caused by electric current
oversize in variable working condition or blower in trouble.

4.7 Due to the plain bearing blower's separated transportation,


field assembly, in addition to the above-mentioned requirements, the
following requirements shall also be installed:
a. Checking whether the stator and its horizontal flange were
damaged, as well as shaft diameter of rotor, bearing backing, and other
parts.
b. Rotor should be slowly hoisted, placed.
c. Packaging the bearing body and bearing housing, then mount
the dowel pins, tighten the screws。
d. Hoisting the upper half of the stator, then laid the upper half of
the casing onto the second half of the casing smoothly, mount the
dowel pin, tighten the screws.
e. Rotating the rotor with less than 1000N • M torque after
assembly, Re-assembled if failed. If failed as well, please contact the
manufacturer.
f. The blower can only be moved at a small distance and a micro
tilt after assembly.
g. The layouts of blowers, lube unit, overhead lube tank and the
arrangement of the pipeline can be changed if were limited to the plant
and other factors, but when working the lube unit should ensure that
the oil can be straight enough to reach the left and right bearing-bit and
overhead lube tank, The height of the distance between overhead lube
tank and the blower’s horizontal flange is five to six meters.

4.8 Blower should be installed on scene commander by


professionals or manufacturers.

5. Trial Running

5.1 After the blower assembled and inspected qualification, the

blower can be test run. Preparation work before test run:

(1). Check whether the foundation bolt or the connector’s bolt is

locking.

(2) Check whether the blower inlet pipe is clean, the pipeline will

not allow the existence of any debris.

(3) Assemble thermoscopes and vibrographes better, debug finish.

(4) Set emergency stop push button on the spot to confirm its

function normally.

(5) Check whether oil leveler of the lube unit is appropriate, the

oil leveler not exceed "the maximum oil leveler", also not be less than

the "minimum oil leveler"; Check the conjunctive situation of lube unit,

the blower bearings and overhead lube pipe, to ensure the lubricating

oil is successive and sufficiency to bearing parts and overhead lube,

also the lubricating oil can be smoothly returned to lube unit; Check

whether the line is properly connected that between the lube unit, the

instrument panel and electrical control cabinet; Check whether the lube

unit cooling water flow, pressure, and connected are correctly.

(6) Requested the motor specification (see motor specification),

no-load test on the motor to check whether the motor’s turning is in

harmony with the blower’s turning.

5.2 The steps of trial running:

(1) Turning slowly, to see whether the blower’s rotor rotation is

flexible, and if there is collision sound; if so, should be trouble

shooting.

(2) Close the valve of the blower inlet pipe.

(3) First start the lube unit to observe whether the lubricating oil is

successive and sufficiency to bearing parts and overhead lube, also the

lubricating oil can be smoothly returned to lube unit,

(4) Observe the display oil temperature of the lube unit’s

instruments panel. Normal oil temperature (refer to lube unit work, the

oil temperature is stable, the oil temperature of non-start-up phase)

should be kept between 38 ℃ ~ 43 ℃. In the cold season, when the oil

temperature below 15 ℃ below, need to start the electric heater inside

the tank to improve the oil temperature, when the highest oil

temperature runs to 45 ℃, the heater automatically cut off. The lube

unit need to through the cooling water in use.

(5) Start the motor, and observe whether the blower’s turning is

correct, if the turning is wrong, should be down to adjust.

(6) When the blower starting and running, the people is not

allowed to stand near the impeller’s radial position and the coupling.

First starting should be checkpoint start, observe whether the different

parts have anomalies and friction sound. After be confirmed no

problem, carry on the formal commissioning. After the blower run to

rated speed, gradually open the valve on the inlet pipe (to observe the

motor running current must not exceed the motor rated current in this

process), shut down to check whether the bearings and other parts of

the park has no problem after run 1 to 2 hours at rated load, then

continuous running 8 to 24 hours, if the situation is normal, it can be

put into operation.

(7) When the aggregate is shutdown, the motor should be shut

down first, until the main shaft stops rotating, and then close the lube

unit.

5.3 Aggregate operation indicators:

(1) Blower:

When the blower is running, the bearing temperature must not

exceed 75 ℃;

RMS vibration velocity of the bearing housing is not more than

4mm / s.

(2) Lube unit:

Working pressure of lube unit is 0.4MPa, alarm when less than

0.07MPa, shut down when less than 0.05MPa;

The oil temperature of the lube unit export does not allow higher

than 50 ℃.

5.4 Emergency stop blower:

If found the blower have abnormal or severe noise; Bearing

temperature sharp rise; The blower happen intense vibration; If there is

one of the above condition should be taken an emergency stop, cut off

the motor power (do not close the guide vane controller), so that the

rotor stop on load quickly.

6. Usage

6.1 The blower needs a air input test before it uses. Testing
sequence can be carried on according to the sixth party clause. After
the test is successful, the blower can be used to the running.

6.2 Emergency shutdown is necessary in case of following


situation.
① No matter which part of the machine is aflame.
② Blower sudden strong vibration or hear a clear, metallic
sound.
③ Bearing temperature increased dramatically, even if only a
bearing when the temperature is higher than 75 ℃.
④ When the gas leakage of the machine room.
⑤ When the whole machine or its individual parts are in danger.

7. Maintenance and Repair

8.1 Replace lubricating oil when the new blower running 100 hours for
the first time, maintain every six months, overhaul once a year.
8.2 Maintenance can release the bolt of horizontal split. Open the
casing and bearing housing, take out the rotor before maintenance.
Make a point of checking the rivets of impeller not loose and welding
no crack.
