Culture Style of Inditex:

Inditex´s corporate culture is based on teamwork, open communication and a

high level of demand. These are the basis of personal commitment to a task
that is focused on the satisfaction of our customers.

Also, your business model is also characterized by the search for flexibility in
adapting production to market demand, by controlling the supply chain in its
different design, manufacturing and distribution phases, which provides the
ability to focus on own production.

CARING:

Advantages: work at Inditex is characterized by good teamwork and open

communication with the aim of streamlining processes.

Disadvantages: is a company that demands a high level of demand from its

employees in order to meet their communications and thus satisfy the needs of
customers.

PURPOSE:

Advantages: This company promotes fashion for all people, something visible in
all its collections, where we find clothing for children, young people, and even
collections for the elderly.
Also note that they are carrying out their goal for 2023 to use recycled materials
and without plastics.

Disadvantages: Due to the manufacture of so many products in different fabrics

and appearances depending on the taste of the consumer segment to which it
is directed, stores like Zara within the group have made their products more
expensive causing complaints from younger consumers.
Regarding the use of recycled materials, we must emphasize that some of its
objectives are taking a long time to be fulfilled and others are formulated in the
long term.

LEARNING:

Advantages: In recent years, Inditex has implemented an employee training

program with the aim of developing skills and competencies such as teamwork,
customer orientation through gamification or virtual reality.

It should also be noted that with the pandemic Inditex made a large investment
in technology and logistics to ensure that customers could make their
purchases online and improvements in transport with faster shipping and offers
such as if you buy + 50€ they give you free shipping.

Disadvantages: Regarding training, the programs only teach them skills that
they can put into practice in their work and not others that can also be useful in
their personal lives, such as public speaking… and in terms of improvements, it
can be seen how… Since the pandemic ended, investments have slowed down
since the physical store purchase method has recovered.

ENJOYMENT:

Advantages: Inditex is very concerned that employees ike their work. This can
be seen since, as it is a clothing chain, it gives its employees collectible clothes
to wear as a uniform so that customers see it and it also provides them with a
25% discount on purchases both in physical stores and in online stores.

Disadvantages: According to the experiences of former employees, the hours

are quite unbalanced, it can be stressful having to set up the store while people
are buying and also in some stores there is not a good atmosphere since the
employees are competing among themselves to see who is better.

RESULTS:

Advantage: In 2022 Inditex achieved a growth of 28,286 million in billing and

3,639 million in profit with 10% fewer stores and 6% less commercial space
than the previous year.

Disadvantages: Although they have achieved these huge figures, it must be

taken into account that they have done so with fewer physical stores since they
have closed them, which means that the employees who work in those stores
have been fired. So it can be said that their figures have also improved at the
cost of laying off employees, thus saving premises rentals and employee
salaries.

AUTHORITY:

Advantage: It is organized in a clear but flexible way to achieve good team

communication and have better results.

Disadvantage: It is a very basic organizational way as it is such a large

company, so we believe that there may be information gaps.

SAFETY:

Advantage: In the case of Inditex, they have good risk management in which
their advisers make sure to calculate the type of risk they may suffer and take
measures to prevent the least possible risk from occurring.
These measures can be preparing stock of emergency garments, minimum
delivery services.

Disadvantage: Although all these processes are good for the company, the
bureaucracy that must be used to carry them out must be taken into account.
since agreements are needed with suppliers and with distributors in cases of
emergency...
ORDER:

Advantage: Inditex is an efficient company, which seeks to reduce internal

conflicts with open communication and above all to promote sustainability in the
areas of energy, water and biodiversity.

Disadvantages: These initiatives make the company have a very strict policy in
the way of manufacturing, in the raw materials and especially in how the
employees do their work.
