OTHER THAN THE CAMERA ANGLE SHOTS, WHAT CREATIVE TECHNIQUES WERE EMPLOYED TO CATCH VIEWERS' ATTENTION? The creative techniques that were employed to catch the viewers’ attention are the use of ear-catching melody applied to the easy to learn lyrics of the campaign jingle. They also showed poor families to tell the viewers that Manny Villar empathizes with them because he also experienced the same thing when he was young. WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE INFOMERCIAL? The purpose of the infomercial of Manny Villar is to endorse, promote, and capture the hearts of the voters. This infomercial also promoted his platforms and advocacies for his presidential campaign. WHO IS ITS INTENDED AUDIENCE? WAS IT AT ALL SUCCESSFUL AT TARGETING ITS INTENDED AUDIENCE? WHAT ADJUSTMENTS/OTHER WAYS COULD BE DONE TO MAKE IT BETTER? The intended audience of the infomercial are the Filipino voters. Although Manny Villar did not win the Presidential Election, the infomercial is successful because it caught the heart of the Filipino voters who wanted to support him. In addition, the campaign jingle was still remembered up to this day. The adjustment that could be done to make it better is to also show his projects and programs for the people in other sectors, not only for the people who are affected by poverty. WHAT VALUES CAN THE AUDIENCE DERIVE FROM IT? The values that can be derived from it are integrity and honesty in serving other people. It also showed that being poor does not hinder a person from achieving his dreams and help those who are in need. THANK YOU
