Getting started
We use the Past Perfect to describe an event completed in the past, which is
connected to another point in time that has also happened
CONTRACTIONS
We make past perfect like this:
(+) subject + had + past participle + complement.
(-) subject + had not/hadn’t + past participle + complement.
(?) Had + subject + past participle + complement?
