INSTRUCTIONS
THIS INSTRUCTION PACKET INCLUDES INFORMATION ON HOW TO CREATE
VIDEOS USING THE TIK-TOK APP, TO CREATE VARIOUS FORMS OF CONTENT
FOR THE SOCIAL-MEDIA PLATFORM.

Process Overview

User will need to download the TikTok app and have/create an account.

 After solidifying your content objective, you will use your Tik-Tok video editing
software to create/post a video.
 Open the camera icon and adjust your settings; settings may vary based on desired content
 After filming go into the editing icon; there you can add trending sounds, adjust time of video, add
text, filters, etc.
 Before posting adjust your cover gif and add trending hashtags and add a descriptive caption

Before You Get Started….

Download the Tik-Tok App from the Apple Store (For I-Phone/Apple Users) or Google Play
(For Android/Chrome OS devices)

STEP 1:

USING YOUR CAMERA

Although there are multiple ways to upload TIK-TOK Content, this manual will
focus on importing/exporting from the app.

- Opening the Tik-Tok app, in the middle you will see a camera icon.
- Tap on the icon to open the camera app.

 Here you can adjust your settings which includes: – time, speed, filters, and
effects.

‘Time’ grants you the option to choose an allotted time to fit all your
content.
These options include 15 seconds, 60 seconds, and 3 minutes.

‘Speed’ will give you the ability to speed up or slow down your video.

‘Effects ’ are ever-changing and vary from face-altering filters to fun

interactive
AR filters. There is a plethora you as the user can choose from and that
will fit
best with your desired content. When you choose a filter, you simply
click on it
and it will be automatically applied to your video.

 STEP 2:

EDITING YOUR CONTENT

To adjust anythign

It’s now time to edit your video

Tik Tok allows you the freedom to create a plethora of content. With this feature
you can edit the length of your video, add, cut, and even readjust clips.

To adjust the length of the video you can take the two ends of the bar (which is
highlighted on the above figure) and pinch them closer. If a mistake occurs, you
simply pull it back out.

You can also cut your video in various places as well. This feature allows you to
take out pieces of your video.
