THE POWER OF
SOCIAL MEDIA
To promote diversity

S

of different backgrounds to reach out and
DIVERSITY

share what they know, giving us a glimpse

of the lives of people all around the world.
By doing this, diversity and inclusion are
promoted and celebrated.
Social media connect people across space and time

and participate creatively in public life as never
before. Moreover, social megdia promote the
interconnectedness and interdependence of our

Diversity
“Diversity is about all of us and about us having to
figure out how to walk through this world together.”
~ Jacqueline Woodson

Diversity, besides gender

and race, includes
the
differences in age, ethnicity, education, sexual
orientation, disability, religion, and nationality.
Furthermore, diversity gives us space to explore the
differences and genuinely appreciate it.
It means to connect with others as if we are a family.
Empathy is needed in order to understand each
other and respect differences. Even though
everyone is not the same, we should learn about it
and understand that the value of diversity is
important.
Social

social media is crucial to building
trust with online communities
and consumers. Example, all
