Meet Dave Breen- President and CEO of Special Olympics

Illinois

Dave Breen is the CEO and President of Special Olympics Illinois. He has been a part of
the Special Olympic Illinois organization for the past 23 years of his life. Breen coordinates
the programming efforts of the 18 local Special Olympic programs in the state of Illinois.
Breen devotes his time to improving the lives of people with intellectual disabilities for roughly
25 years. Breen is a graduate of Illinois State University, with a bachelor's degree in Recreation
and Park Administration. He resides in Normal, IL.
Special Olympics Illinois includes more than 21,300 athletes with intellectual disabilities.
