WEEK 1

DAY 1

On our first day of ojt at the Bureau of Fire Station, the municipal fire marshal, together with the other
personnel, introduced themselves to us. After that, they orient us for an hour, then they let us watch
some frolic presentations while Sir Nikko is preparing for our discussion for tomorrow. Because we were
going to present as a group on our last day.

DAY 2

Second day of our ojt, Sir Nikko taught us about the basic concept of fire and BFP overview (legal
mandate).

DAY 3

Third day of our Sir Nikko, Sir Arjay and Sir Adriane taught us the different types of carry and the spine
board management.

Day 4

The fourth day is Thursda, which is also our sports day. On that day, we participated in the those
throwing activity. When they respond to a large fire, they let us see how they prepare the hose. Sir Arjay
also explained to us the components and contents of the fire truck. Around 3:30 pm, our instructors
decided to begin the warm-up so that we could begin jogging from the station to the sulse’s park . Once
we arrived there, we began the BFP Dozen exercise led by Sir Nikko along with Sir Arjay and Sir Adriane,
then we returned to the station and completed the warm-up exercis.

DAY 5

Our unit test was on the fourth day, Yes, we conducted our first unit test, which wasn’treally
challenging. Thank God, 15 out of 25 were correct. However, there is a bonus question at the end of the
exam. Nobody knew the exact name of the BFP leader when they asked us what it was and on the
afternoon we performed the Hose connection.

WEEK 2

DAY 6
We attended the flag raising on the sixth day of our Ojt. And in the afternoon, we had the opportunity to
ride in the Fire Truck. We travelled to Cansangaya to SSTY and returned to the station we had the fire
truck visibility which led by Sir Dominador Aludo, he discussed to us the purpose of our activity that
afternoon.

DAY 7

Sir Edward Coles led a discussion about knot tying. He taught us how to tie various types of knots that
we may use in our daily lives and so that we will know what to do in an Emergency.

DAY 8

The next day, our lesson is all about the different kinds of bandaging discussed to us by Ma’am Lemony
Molina, the Emergency Medical Technician of Bureau of fire Protectio. Ma’am leony demonstrates to us
the proper bandaging in the afternoon, we had our practical again with the same group and same rules.

DAY 9

The following day, Thursday is our athletic day for the second time. At 4:00 am, we arrived at the station
because Sir Dominador Aludo and the other staff would be leading our road run from the station to
SSTY. It’s is very enjoyable day!

DAY 10

On the tenth day of our trip, we talked about the significance of highway signs as well as the significance
of broken and yellow lines and we gave us to try a personal protective equipment (PPE) and a self
contained breathing apparatus (SCBA).

WEEK 3

DAY 11

This day Sir Nikko instructed to us to practice our dance presentation that performed this coming our
graduation.

DAY 12

On this day, we had our recitation of all the lessons we discussed from day 2 until day 11. Because Sir
Nikko wants to test us to see if we really learned and if we pay attention to every discussion.
DAY 13

After the fire drill at the plaza of brgy 6 we went back to the station to continue our lecture about
cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). Sir Nikko demonstrate how to perform CPR because we will be
performing it after the discussion.

DAY 14

On our 14th day as OJT, which was also our WASAR schedule day, we travelled to Quarry Beach at NATO.
Along with Sir Arjay and Sir Adriane Acodesin, Ee had a quick discussion about the basic scape that Sir
Nikko had taught us.

DAY 15

Our last day of work immersion.We attend the women’s day parade early in the morning then after that
we went back to the station after that since still needed to rehearse marching for the last activity.
Knowing that it was our last day at BFP, and we presented our dance presentation and after that we
proceed our moving up . After the all presentatio, they showed us some appreciation by allowing our
request to be water showered from the fire truck, which served as a reminder that it was actually our
last day working at the station.
